Visited with my family who are regulars at Stefanis when they visit Blackpool. First time I have eaten here. Lovely atmosphere sitting outside on a hot bank holiday weekend morning / lunchtime visit. The tables were spotlessly clean. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Bottled Coke was very cold with lots of ice and went down a treat. Nice clean glasses. Unfortunately the pizzas were just not up to what I had expected. I like my pizza with a thin base. Unfortunately the centre of the base was so thin and soggy it was completely stuck to the plate so it was not possible to lift a slice when it was cut. It all broke apart. Very soggy. They were Hawaiin pizza with Ham and Pineapple. Unfortunately the ham was very very salty. It actually was really unpleasant. We removed the ham and even the pizza base where it had been located was really salty and just unpleasant . Ive never had ham as salty as that previously and I love strong Italian Hams . Very strange. Tingling tongue and swollen lips with the salt. My son and his girlfriend who rave about the restaurant said it was the worst pizza they have had eaten when visiting there. It was my sons birthday that day and this was a small snack while out for a walk. He was very disappointed as this was his suggested place of choice for excellent pizza. It easily was the worst pizza I've eaten and as a first experience, unfortunately, I will not be back. The young girl who brought the bill didnt question the ham left on the plates but did ask if I wanted my change. I did leave a tip as service was excellent. I'm very sorry but on this occasion it just wasn't good at all. Everything was good other than the food...

Had this place on my list of places to eat during our recent holiday along with places like umamis and armenia kebab shop etc. Got 1 margherita and 1 salt and pepper chicken pizza, 1 nutella pizza for the kids and 4 cannolis (1 of each flavour) to takeaway, £45.55. We were staying a 10 minute drive away. The pizza was meh, but the doh was really chewy as if it hadnt been proofed long enough or something. Very light pizza's in weight and not the biggest. Had some leftover nutella pizza the next day, put in over for 5 minutes and the kids didnt even want it after trying a few bites, doh extremely chewy to not being really edible by this time. Was really let down by this meal as I had been looking forward to it. I make my own pizza's at home so have a bit of pizza knowledge. We dont like eating chain pizzas but i think we would have enjoyed a dominos more than this. The connollis were also not great, the pastry was quite biscuit like and I expected fresh cream but got like a preformed cyclinder of solid cream inside, again meh.

Service was great and very fast considered they looked busy inside. Also looked like a nice atmosphere inside although we didnt sit in. To claim you are in the top 50 pizza places is the let down, because it was just meh and was still hungry after 1 pizza and...

I'd been meaning to try this place for some time, finally had lunch here just after the New Year, and am so glad I did! It's an excellent family run pizzeria in a good central location close to the Winter Gardens. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. It's only a small place, and although it was quiet when I arrived around noon, it soon filled up! It has all the rustic decor and homely atmosphere of a small family run restaurant in Italy. Good selection of starters and garlic bread, and an amazing variety of wood fired pizzas. You can create your own pizza from a choice of toppings, and there's also a vegan menu. I chose the Little Italy pizza (with homemade sausage meat, black olives and peppers). It was cooked to perfection, the base was crispy at the edges and softer in the middle, and the topping had a delicious authentic Italian flavour. They offer a good choice of Italian craft beers, ciders and wine, but I tried the pink lemonade cocktail, and it proved to be a tangy and refreshing accompaniment to the pizza. Finished with a very light and delicious tiramisu and a cappuccino. Quick service and a very attentive waitress who kept coming back to check that everything was okay. Prices were reasonable too. Would...

I took my 2 boys to Blackpool for a couple of days as a little getaway in the summer hols. Having Googled for a few pizza restaurants we settled on Stefani's based on the reviews. We popped in earlier in the day as we were passing and spoke to Izzy who booked us a table for 6pm. We returned at 5.55pm and were given our table which was already prepared and reserved. We ordered pizza and were all finished by 6.20pm! Not that we felt rushed or anything (although it's a small place so probably often busy - make sure you book in advance), but the pizza was so good we just wolfed it down. It arrived about 5 minutes after ordering, thanks to the wood fired pizza oven (does them in about half the time). The boys had pepperoni, I had the Mount Vesuvius with extra chilli flakes, minus cheese as I don't like it. The base was super light and fluffy and the toppings were good quality. I could probably have eaten another. The chilli was just the right level. It's a small, cosy place, and Izzy & the staff were lovely. Next time we're in Blackpool we'll definitely return. "Best pizza ever" according to the kids. They didn't seem to do a kid's menu but I'm sure the boys were glad of the adult portions.
