Strangers with Coffee — Restaurant in England

This place should definitely be a full 5 out of 5. We come from a very spoiled background when it comes to coffee so traveling to the UK can be challenging for us to find good coffee. We know how to do our research and sometimes it works out. But, frankly, we are often disappointed. Not so with Strangers with Coffee. We bought one coffee until we could try it and see whether it was worth us each getting our own. As I watched her make it, I knew immediately she knew what she was doing and it was going to be GOOD! And we were not only not disappointed, we were SOOOO thankful and grateful for such an excellent cup of coffee! We came back… a few times. 😏 And then we considered if we could somehow travel with a whole bunch of it for the rest of our trip. I really lined this little coffee shop. I came here years ago when it was under different ownership but never go to that part of town anymore. I happened to be parking outside, my son suggested a coffee, I suggested in town, but he said this place did good coffee so in we went. We asked for a recommendation and ended up with a filter coffee and a sausage roll. The sausage roll looked good, but I am not really into such things, it was nice though. The coffee on the other hand was very fruity, very different and absolutely enjoyable. Their choice is good. We were given a choice of the usual latte and cappuccino, plus American or espresso, but these filter coffees were delicious. I will be going back...

A lovely little cafe, small with a really good vibe and a friendly owner. They do healthy food, like sandwiches and wraps with roasted peppers, and falafels, that type of thing, and are allegy-conscious. I discovered it whilst visiting Oakville, the medical supplies store near St Cuthberts church, near Princes Street bus station. They do lush cheese muffins, especially nice when warmed up and a great variety of herbal and speciality teas, which pleased me, and even wine, which pleased me even more!
