Teajuanas Cafe — Restaurant in England

Teajuanas Cocina is a short walk from some of the biggest attractions in York and was also fortunately near our Airbnb for a trip here.

The food and coffee became a fast habit for us to grab before heading out for the day. Delicious burritos are made fresh and with care. Amazing, and energizing coffee and a friendly staff that made us feel welcome every time we visited. The owner was incredibly pleasant and easy to talk to and took notice that we had become regulars during our trip.

I highly recommend their chorizo burrito and café bonbon or their cortado. The friends I traveled with also tried their juevos rancheros and quesadillas, and nothing on the menu disappointed.

My only disappointment is that we'll only be in town for a couple more days, and I will only get to enjoy this wonderful restaurant one last time before heading home.

Been staying in York in a group of six from around the world for two weeks and I wish I found this place on day 1. Great place for breakfast with a bit of a kick. Suffice to say we've been back nearly everyday since with the only exception when we were out of York for a couple of days.

Owner and staff are extremely pleasant and courteous. They have been friendly, upbeat, and always set the expectation for wait times when we put in large orders. Would recommend this place to anyone who misses or has a hankering for Mexican food.

The breakfast burrito is to die for, the selection of hot drinks with a twist is interesting and exciting.

Really wish I had a place like this I could visit back home.

If I am ever in York again I...

Was walking past and saw something new had popped up and came over to have a look. After talking to the extremely friendly staff member about what they do, I opted to try one of their barbacoa tacos and a couple fruit sodas. Guy let me know that unfortunately they weren’t currently serving them, but when he saw I was disappointed was great and fired out a couple for us.
