Visited here whilst on a short stay this week. Popped in and I had the cheese, onion and tomato quiche. When we arrived it was still in the oven which I didn’t mind waiting for! It was the best quiche I’ve ever had, beats Dicksons, shop ones, even farm shop ones! As you can see by the photo, the quiche was brimming, beautiful and fresh ingredients! The staff were very helpful too as my boyfriend has gluten free and he even had a couple of gorgeous cakes too!

We had lunch at The Cottage Kitchen, which was wonderful. Children's menu, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and most importantly: plenty of gluten and lactose free options! The salmon quiche was so good. Definitely recommend going here, especially when suffering from food allergies or intolerances.

Food was good and staff was friendly we was served by the old lady she was really helpful but the things that made me disappointed was found hair on my Salad and order for espresso(25-30ml) but get lungo (55-60ml). Overall it was good..

I stopped by on Thursday and inquired about gluten free scones (I’m English, but live in the United States). Unfortunately, they were out, but the chef stepped out and said he would make some and I could come back by later on that day or the next day. I went by just before they closed on the same day and the chef had made both fruit and cheese scones! As they were closing I picked some up to take away. They were excellent! I loved them so much, I returned with my spouse and cousin for breakfast the next day (also excellent) and we bought 3 different gf desserts (all absolutely fantastic!). Not only was the entire staff understanding and incredibly nice (they all went far above and beyond), the food is outstanding and the scones and desserts are not to be missed. I give The Cottage Kitchen food and staff my absolute highest recommendation. For people not concerned with gluten I still give the Cottage Kitchen my highest recommendation as the food is absolutely outstanding. The breakfasts were fabulous and the desserts are...

We usually have lunch here when we do shopping in the town. We keep going back because of the friendly welcoming staff but mainly because the food is excellent. We were put off yesterday though, a couple called and asked if they could bring their dog in with them, permission was granted. Not long afterwards I was horrified to see that it had "done it's business" on the floor. I don't think that the owners were aware of the problem. We were not aware that it was a dog friendly place and if dogs are allowed then perhaps they should be welcome only if the owners of the dog used the outside eating area. It's such a shame, but we won't...

We visited here yesterday and weren’t disappointed. I have coeliac disease and find it really difficult finding places to eat that have gluten-free options. The lady serving us was very clued up about gluten-free, and took time to tell us all the things I could have off the menu and that everything that went in the frier was gf. I had the 3 cheese quiche with chips, and my husband had the steak and onion pie, both gf and delicious. We then had a lemon meringue pie and a carrot cake, again both gf and really nice. We will definitely be visiting again and taking our granddaughter,...
