We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the beginning, the main person in charge insisted that we order all of our food at once—not for the customers’ benefit, but, as he said, to “keep the chef happy.” This was highly unprofessional and made us feel pressured rather than welcomed, especially considering the restaurant was completely empty at the time and ours was the only table. It was my wife’s birthday, yet there were no candles or any effort to help us celebrate, even though we had informed them in advance. We ended up leaving without being able to celebrate properly, cake in hand. Because of the constant pressure to consume everything at once, we had to change our plan completely—we only managed to have our starters at the table and were forced to take the mains away as a parcel. Shockingly, the person in charge was perfectly fine with this, showing no concern for our experience as paying customers. The most upsetting part of the evening was the repeated remarks made by the same person, such as “you Asian people.” This was extremely offensive, insulting, and completely unacceptable—especially in a restaurant that serves Asian cuisine. My friends and I recently visited Le Raj while on a trip, hoping to enjoy a good meal. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the overall food experience. While the restaurant had a clean and peaceful ambiance, which we appreciated, the food didn’t live up to our expectations.

The quality and quantity of the food were both underwhelming. Portions were noticeably small for the price, and the flavors felt quite average, if not below. We were really hoping for something more satisfying, especially as we were traveling and looking forward to a hearty meal. The dishes lacked depth and didn’t feel fresh or well-prepared. It almost seemed like the food was rushed or pre-made.

On the positive side, the restaurant itself was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. The peaceful vibe was a nice break from a busy day, and the staff were polite. However, good ambiance alone isn’t enough when the main reason for visiting is the food.

Overall, this place might work for a quick bite if you’re not particular about taste or quantity, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone looking for a fulfilling...

We were booked in this evening Saturday 5th August, for 8pm, would love to actually review this place but after standing on the pavement for 25 minutes after our reservation time despite repeatedly going into the restaurant to enquire if our table was ready the staff and management didn’t seem to know which way was up !! This is a new start restaurant so you would expect some teething problems but after trying our best to get some resolution on what was happening we gave up. It seems they are prioritising take aways for ‘Just Eat’ and customers actually with table bookings can go ** themselves as the delivery drivers were pushing past everyone else and getting priority.
