The Rose & Crown - Good old British summer time – you couldn’t make it up. Imagine it’s the first weekend in August, the crowning day of the new football season. Surely, we will be blessed with some good weather, right? NAH - The rain was absolutely slamming it down.
With that barmy weather, we had to hot-step it to the pub, and the pub in question was the Rose and Crown. Thankfully, it was a cracking pub that is serious about cask ale, as evident by all the pump clips of previous beers that have been flowing through their pipes.
After two delicious pints, we had to make tracks for Adams Park to make kick-off, but trust me, next time I’m in Wycombe, I will be heading back to the Rose and Crown.
