Just visited this wonderful little tearooms here in Saltburn by the sea. We hopped on the minature railway train and was told about the tearooms at the end of the train journey. What a wonderful suprise to find a Victorian tearooms in the middle of the gardens, so quaint and beautiful it was beautifully decorated all Victorian with a homely feel, it reminded me of my grandmother's home when I was little. My mum absolutely loved it!!! We had tea for two served in dainty China cups and the most beautiful homemade Victoria sandwich cake with lashings of cream served in vintage bowls. Free refills on the tea!!! Oh what a heavenly day!! Mum had the turkey club sandwich it beat her as she couldn't finish but the lovely lady wrapped the rest of her sandwich up. We sat outside as it was such a beautiful day and my mum loved feeding a little robin that sat by our chairs. Afterwards we went for a walk and sit down in the stunning Italian gardens and enjoyed the peaceful afternoon sunshine. We are now looking forward to our next visit especially looking forward to cake!!!! Going to bring my nephew's when they visit next week. Would definitely recommend the tearooms to anybody who loves an old fashioned tearooms with...

While she was polite about it, I thought this absolutely ridiculous.
Cakes were ok but pretty dry and overly sweet. I don’t think we...
