Saltburn Bandstand — Attraction in Saltburn, Marske and New Marske

Band stand is beautiful and it is maintained. Sadly some idiots seem to litter it and leave items which may have been from drug taking near it- so just be careful. It does seem to get cleaned up but it's best to be aware.

It leads to the park which is beautifully maintained.

There are lots of nice paths to walk along (wellies may be good if it's wet in places). Quite steep in some parts.

You can walk from the band stand through the park (tea room is worth a visit, it looks very vintage inside with nice cakes. There were even 3 choices of gluten free cake/cookies! I don't think you can sit inside but when I went it was warm. Customer toilet.

There is a children's play area.

Then you can keep walking towards the sea and you come out near some public toilets and another cafe or two. There is a pay and display car park...

Looks lovely, very odd out in the middle of nowhere but the whole area stinks of urine. Really needs to be cleaned up and looked after, definitely one for the council or at a push, someone needs to set up a Friends of Salt burn Bandstand-type of group. Worth a look but...
