I’m only rating the pie n mash from here and it is absolute trash, if you know pie n mash avoid at all costs. Don’t know where to start, the liquor is as thin as water (if not thinner if that’s possible!) and tasteless, the mash is flavourless don’t think it even had a pinch of salt and the pies are horrendous, light brown, soft and floppy and the meat is pale hardly no gravy and tasteless, looks like a pukka pie that’s been sat in a chip bag all night. As a east end born and bread man, it is honestly an insult, when your brought up with Robins or Maureen’s from popular. Pies should be slightly burnt sunken and crispy. I heard there getting this from Cathedrals pie n mash which is decent, so I don’t know how it is loosing so much quality they must be watering it down or deep freezing it, but cathedral need to be careful if they are tying there name to this s..t. Nearly 30 quid for 4 pies n 4 mash it’s a joke, if they were in the east end they would be out of business in weeks, DO NOT GET YOUR PIE N MASH FROM HERE, they do not...
Read moreThis is an absolute gem of a place to eat. Excellent decor and scrupulously clean and hygienic throughout. I've had breakfast here on about six occasions and every time the food has been very delicious, well presented and very good value for money. The ingredients are of a very high quality, which makes all the difference (e.g. bacon is more thickly sliced than you usually get in eating establishments and so it retains its shape and flavour and is not salty, the bread is also of a high quality - no thin, ready sliced bread here, eggs are very fresh and cooked perfectly). All of the staff are friendly and welcoming with nothing too much trouble for them. I'm looking forward to trying their lunchtime menu for a...
