Friends brought some bread back from this shop last week. It was nice, we ordered some online, using you know their online store…
Don’t expect the online shop to deliver! They must have Ga, Ga, Ga, Granville on his pushbike making the deliveries. They are a joke!!
Would not deliver over £20 shopping just over the Severn Bridge to South Wales even though I offered to pay the extra postage.
But don’t worry try WARING’S BAKERY READING as they deliver to Wales and also FOOD FOR THOUGHT based in NORTHAMPTONSHIRE delivers to Wales. But not these lot just over the bridge from me. Not Winnie’s though, the end of the street and just down the one cul de sac is their delivery limitation!!
But they have an online store???
We had big plans of visiting Winnie’s when we next went to Weston, but after this experience with them they can just go and whistle now. My mates feel exactly the same too!
SHUT IT DOWN!

Read moreWe visit brean sands yearly as a family and we always take a visit to burnham on sea and weston, we've always loved the products from winnies bakery especially the tear and share bread. Although I enjoyed the 'snack' I felt that the cafe had just been 'stuck out the back' for extra income. Drab with a ladder against the wall, not much room to get to the counter and that was covered in packets of bread. One staff member had a beard but no beard net!! Hence only 4 ⭐.
Update - visited again and tried their giant pasty. It was fab. Filled to the brim with just the right amount of pepper. Pastry was good and light. £4.10 well spent.
I will come back for more pastries but I think I will give the...
