I am from Hungary and I was so happy seeing they have LANGOS on the menu. When it arrived it was size of a cake plate, flat, hard and hardly could cut so I scooped up the sour cream and cheese from the top and left the so called LANGOS. It seems you don't have a clue how langos should look like. It's fluffy, airy, thick but light dough, similar to doughnuts and not something like you can kill somebody with it. I am very disappointed in this dish in your restaurant. You can seek advise from me, I'm happy to teach you how to make it UPDATE I don't need to show you how to serve but how to make the dough and how to fry. It wasn't brought to your attention because my sister said you should see the sign of not liking it as it was left on the plate. Read moreToMo feels like the pub/restaurant version of being in Central Perk in an episode of Friends - the team are so warm and friendly, it's a fab hangout spot. Food and beer are delicious, we keep coming back for more! I've just had the langos and a baked hermelin two days in a row, first with beers and friends and then with family, ToMo is great for all occasions. Photos here are from several visits since they opened - we were lucky enough to do an incredible private beer tasting session and learnt how to pour the tank beer, we also came when they had the footie on the projector screen, and loads of other times for drinks and food. I can't imagine Maidenhead without ToMo anymore, it really fills a gap of that community family feel place to spend time socialising. Can't praise the team and their achievements here...
Read moreWhat a great place for anglicised Czech/Polish food, beer and snacks or just coffee and nibbles. We had dinner. We wanted just about every item on the menu. We went basic for starters with soft pretzel (delicious) and spiced pecan nuts (slightly gooey coating and delicious). For mains, we had Perogui (fried dumplings) filled with mushrooms and Sauer Kraut (delicious) and chicken shashlik (juicy and delicious). We went for chocolate fondue to finish (delicious). See the photos to get an idea of how delicious the food looked and tasted. We had beer (Czech Budweiser) was poured from a gigantic barrel. The meal was absolutely delicious. The staff were attentive, friendly, relaxed. The whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Very...
