This is a deli that is absolutely true to the term. Truffles offers a great combination of off the shelve, fresh counter, and freshly prepared produce, while also balancing pride in local and regional products with well chosen international delights. The savoury baked goods are sure to tempt and the selection of cheeses is nicely diverse yet not overwhelming. At the back fresh sandwiches and salads are made to order and offer great quality for a packed lunch or picknick. There is also an interesting selection of regional gins and other distillates next to a wide range of ciders and perries. We didn't try the homemade cakes on this occasion, but again expectations were exceeded in variety and they looked appetising if suitably rustic. Very friendly staff clearly enjoyed their trade, which is immediately infectious. When it came to the bill for our picknick (with added bits), we were taken aback a bit by what it cost us. However, this perhaps says as much about our lack of self-constraint as it does about the slightly premium pricing. The quality still...

This place is a gem of a find. We popped in for lunch on a sunny Tuesday afternoon. The outside court yard is amazing, tucked away from the street it is very peaceful and is Dog friendly, which is a bonus.

Food, while a little expensive, is well made and tasted amazing. The ingredients are obviously good quality. They lots of chioce and options, it well worth taking your time before ordering. Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. They have taken time to make this something special.

Drinks were great as well and we left feeling relaxed and refreshed.

Ross on Wye has plenty of choice, but I recommend this quintessential...

WOW! What a find. On a recent holiday to Ross on Looking for a little lunch and stumbled upon Truffles deli and cafe. At the counter is a host of delicious options. I went for the wild boar sausage roll with 3 salads (Waldorf, Chickpeas with rose harissa dressing and coleslaw. A huge meal and all so delicious. Great options for the vegetarians in the party. Went the extra mile to check if there was any sugar in the bread which allowed us to order something for my grandchild who is too young to eat processed sugars. What a find and definitely worth coming back for. My grandson also loved ringing the bell to announce...

We fell upon this place whilst exploring, the staff are extremely friendly, and the food is both excellent and very well priced. We opted for the sandwiches and a jacket pot. All had massive fillings and tasted fantastic. The iced latte was amazing, with chocolate sauce and cream on top. We sat in the secret garden and it was very nice. The deli has an amazing array of treats and fresh goods to purchase, and again the staff are very helpful. This is a small business that does it right, when visiting the town they deserve your patronage, they are head and shoulders above the chain cafes in the area.
