Tweet bar&Kitchen — Restaurant in England

Visited on a Sunny Day when we needed some refreshment and lunch. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere and we were greeted in a timely fashion and drinks were ordered and arranged promptly. We then ordered food a Philly Steak Sandwich with fries and a Chicken Giro wrap with fries. Both 12.50. Drinks were good, and food tasted really nice, however the portion of Chicken in the wrap was very disappointing. I had to raise this to the waitress and asked if this was the normal portion and was told that she thought it was. This wrap was a flat bread filled with a bit of lettuce, red onion and tzatziki sauce however the 'with fries' actually meant that there was minimum chicken and it was loaded with the fries basically a carb wrap. The waitress returns and said she had spoken to the chef and confirmed that the chicken portion was normal for lunch, I stated that it was not even enough chicken for one thigh to be told it was breast. I advised she was missing the point, and off she trotted. It made the lunch disappointing as I feel there was no attempt to rectify. When the bill arrived they deducted one of the drinks, but the point was not enough chicken. I feel the feedback completely went over the waitresses head and we were a pain. I would not...

Four of us visited here as part of our 'calender crawl' so we were here for looking for drinks but this place was also recommended to us for food.. Nice interior, nothing over the top just spacious and uncluttered. As there didn't seem to be anything available where four could sit and eat as it was quite busy, they offered to pull two high tables together for us and thats how we proceeded. We ordered a pint of Hillside Brewery's 'Legless Cow' and perused the menu.. We fanicied the tapas but were not sure how many dishes to order.. the very pleasant but tiny waitress who was only just the height of the table said that most folks have about 5 plates.. Note to manager - this lady deserves your best bonus, she knows how to sell that tapas.. when all the plates arrived, thats about 20 plates on two smallish tables.. it looked unfinishable.. but eben though it took a while we managed.. but four blokes with appetites are still doubtful that most folks have 5 plates each!! anyway it was an adventure, good food and enjoyable. Let me start by saying the food itself is 5*. Absolute quality and cannot fault it. Unfortunately the good points end there.

After waiting 20mins, someone came over to tell us the drinks tickets had not been pinned and asked if we had ordered yet. They then bought one of our drinks and we waited another 10mins, having to ask again when the food arrived before we got the second drink.

After dinner we waited 35mins to be asked if we would like another drink or the bill. The restaurant wasn't even half full and if the management spent half as long serving as they did dancing behind the bar, then it would have been sound.
