This place sets a high bar for cafes. My wife and I called in for a mid-morning break and sat inside. We were enticed by the display of 'Hayley's Cakes', so a coffee became coffee and cake and we were not disappointed. We spotted the attractive coutyard and so returned for a late lunch, this time sitting in the Tool Shed. I enjoyed a tasty Panini and excellent milkshake, and my wife had a quiche & Waldorf salad. Read moreMaybe I'm a little biased as I know someone who works here. However, that said, I've been coming here for longer than that situation. The food is good and well presented and they do a good Earl Grey. The staff are polite and, though you can eat inside, the courtyard is a nice place to sit. It can get very busy, a popular venue, but I was lucky and arrived at a slightly quieter moment. Happy to recommend. Oh, and they do take-away...
