We came in on the 14th July and sorry to say wont be coming again, our dog is a therapy dog and a diabetic dog, but our dog always sits in his bed on the chair , I would never let him on a chair without his bed, we always put a clean cloth on the table were he is just incase he accidently touches the table as I respect other people's thoughts as not every one is a doggy person, we was told he had to go on the floor which all the cafes we go in know us and let him on the chair in his bed, he is that quiet you don't even realize he is there. We was giving him a drink as being a diabetic dog he drinks alot, we was told on the floor he has to go we couldn't give him a drink on the chair . And this is the first and last place we're I thought they was rude I could see the 3 of the staff calling us which it just ruined our dinner people who know us love us being in there cafes and seeing teddy our doggy. It's a shame as food is really good and prices are brilliant, but never mind we will stick to were we are welcome in future. I forgot to say my partner uses a wheelchair which the place is...
Read moreHad a lovely afternoon tea with my wife and my 95 year old mother. Absolutely gorgeous home made food - even the scones - in a relaxed “no rush” atmosphere with free tea / coffee refills.
The ladies had the afternoon tea and I had a hot chicken & stuffing barmcake that really did “melt in your mouth” - freshly cooked chicken that morning!
All in all a delightful trip out, good food, relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff at a very reasonable price - what more could you ask for?
