Domino's Pizza - Exeter - St Thomas — Restaurant in Exeter

Have never had problems ordering from here before but tonight was confronted by the rudest delivery driver I have ever encountered! He rang me to tell me he was outside, and so I went out the front to collect, thinking he possibly couldn’t find my flat. Upon opening the door the first thing he told me was ‘for future reference I shouldn’t have to call you to tell you I’m here.” I told him it’s normally the case that drivers knock on the door, he said it was ‘policy’ that they don’t enter the building due to safety or disease (?) concerns. I said I understood but asked how was I supposed to know he was outside if he shouldn’t have to call me? His response: wait outside! I have never been instructed to wait outside for my delivery from anywhere I’ve ordered from! When I tried to question this logic he shushed me very patronisingly. He was rude, confrontational and aggressive for absolutely no reason. I believe his name was Ivor. I called the store to put in a formal complaint. The manager was understanding and agreed the not coming inside the building excuse was ridiculous and NOT company policy but said there was nothing he could do to reprimand this driver and to contact Head Office which I will be doing. The drivers attitude was absolutely disgusting. To be shushed by a grown man and talked to the way I was has ruined my night. I have no problem with coming outside to collect an order but I do not tolerate being treated like that for no reason. Because of this driver I will no longer be ordering from here which is unfortunate as I have never experienced a problem with...

Second time with shocking service from this store (lesson learnt) Kids hungry and upset, I ordered the food at 19:03 currently writing this at 21:30 the order status has been sat at prep for over an hour alone now. It’s actually been so long the tracker has gone all together.

Have tried calling numerous times for 30 mins and no answer on the phone whatsoever. I really don’t think this stores wants any business going by our last two experiences and they are making it very clear. Whoever owns this particular location, if they have not already should be checking in on what’s actually going so wrong.

I work where we have short staff and know the struggles so if it’s that maybe don’t lie on the trackers when you say one time knowing that it’s far from the truth because you have no one to actually make or deliver the food! Not Ideal : Ordered a couple of large pizzas for delivery, they went to the wrong house... Driver attempted to phone me once (of which I missed due to phone on silent). I checked my phone after an hour (wondering where the pizza was) and saw a missed call so phoned Dominos. Spoke to the manager who was rude as heck to say the least! Told me I had declined the pizza at the door! (Was blatantly the wrong bladdy house!). He then told me they would attempt to re-deliver one more time otherwise cancel my order. I waited, then got a call from delivery driver, who was again at the wrong bloody house!! The numbers are clear as day! How the hell he was getting it wrong is beyond me.... Finally met him and got the pizza, of which was stone cold at this point.... crap pizza, crap service.. its pizza, not rocket science.. and there no need...
