Umami Sushi Box — Restaurant in Gravesham

Avid fan of sushi and I'm always looking for new places to try it. Always walked past this place on the way into town and said I wanted to try it. What a mistake it was to not to try it sooner. The server was super friendly, answered any questions I had and had pictures to show of what they offered. A wide range of sushi and hot food to suit all. With various serving sizes, I'm sure Umani Sushi Box could cater for any occasion. Ordered two Harmony Box sets and it was freshly made to ordered within 15 minutes and when I tried it I could instantly tell how much of a difference being freshly made sushi makes. Sushi ready on the shelf from some where like the Wasabi chain could not compare.

Only deliver within 3 miles of their shop but you can order over the phone, they'll tell you a time to come collect and you get 15% on collection when over £15. Well worth the 20 minute trip it takes to get there. Will certainly be returning and this will be my go to Sushi place...

We chose to dine in, it had seating but it's predominantly a take-away service so there were three tables to choose from. The service was quick and polite, with food being freshly made. We arrived not long after Umami opened, so the staff serving made sure the table we at was wiped down and clean for us.

The food was said to be out roughly 15 minutes from ordering but it came out quicker than that. My sister ordered teriyaki tofu bento with duck oishi steamed buns (eyes bigger than her belly!) Whilst I had tempura aubergine with vegetable gyoza. My sister enjoyed the bento & buns, flavouring was lovely, generous amount of everything! She almost fell in love with the buns after one bite and her inner gollum came out. Visited/ ordered regularly since this place opened. Consistently received orders on time or early, and nicely packaged. Food is always warm and great quality, and I'd prefer to order from here than pick up food from Yo!Sushi or Wasabi House. Price is a little higher than I'd like, but I'd happily pay the premium.

On two occasions, there's been an error with my order. The most recent happened last week, my second to last order, when one of my group was vegetarian and his order was bundled in with salmon.
