Completely inadequate staff. Multiple problems poorly resolved. Poor girl working the till and waiting had no idea how to do her job, needs training.

Out of all the selection of beers only 1 was available, not even on the menu so unknown price

Asked for a pink gin and lemonade, got 1 shot of gin with a splash of lemonade mixed in. Went and asked for the lemonade separately, got half a glass of lemonade. Got regular white gin instead of pink

Ordered gobi 65 as a starter, 20 minutes later we get told they have no gobi so asked for chicken 65 instead. Of course 30 minutes later this never arrived either

Decide to wait for the mixed grill to arrive, was told 20 minutes so was expecting to have it as a starter. 1 hour later NOTHING has arrived. In the meantime we see 3 delivery orders go out

After said hour of waiting, asked about how long mix grill will take and was told a FURTHER 10-15 minutes

At this point we've been there 1h30+ with not a single piece of food in front of us. Not even a poppadom as a courtesy or like any gesture of goodwill. Bizarre experience. After walking out of two nearby restaurants because they had cancelled or had suspended their drinks license, checked before entering that this place was fully licensed. We were shown to the upstairs room. Food smelt lovely and we were looking forward to eating. Waitress came to table and we asked to see drinks menu, as there was no drinks on the menus. We were shown a photograph of a handwritten list of about four wines on a piece of paper on the waitress's mobile phone. (I said it was bizarre!). I asked if they had any lager, as I've never drank wine with curry. Waitress said she didn't know (!) and would have to go downstairs and check. Meanwhile two other diners decided they would like cider. Waitress came back with a mental note of the two beers and lagers available - but there was no cider. We were perplexed.
