Bistro Pizza 2for1 — Restaurant in England

Wish I could give this place 0 stars.

I ordered a double chicken burger, which was okay, with fries and 6 pieces of chicken. I also paid 35p for bbq sauce which I did not receive, instead I was given ketchup. I ate my burger, which wasn’t the nicest, but was bearable. I then went to eat the chicken pieces. I opened the box and they looked inedible. I sent photos to my friends to make sure I wasn’t overreacting, and they all said “that looks vile, make a compliant”. I called the restaurant politely addressing the situation. The guy on the other end asked for my postcode and read out my home address, so i know for sure that I definitely called the right place. I told him what had happened, and he couldn’t believe it. He accused me of lying, and said “you must have to wrong place, this is not bistro”. I was getting very angry at this point and calmly asked for a refund. He told me no, and that I should go to the restaurant and give him back his chicken. At this point I couldn’t keep in my anger, and told him to stop making excuses for his poor service. He told me to stop lying and making up stories, he then said “do you want my advice? Take me to court darling” and ended the call. I am absolutely disgusted with this service, so are my friends who had to witness the phone call. After reading reviews it seems that I am not the only one who has had issues with this...

Horrendous food. Utterly tasteless, poorest ingredients used to create it. Was so staving I actually manged nearly one slice of the 2 pizzas before I could eat no more. Felt sick all night after. If you notice all the invented names on the reviews singing praises that are very similar to each other. Makes one who has 2 neurones to rub together seriously doubt their authenticity. I'm sorry to say this is truly awful food. I wouldn't even pay a pound for each of these pizzas. After arguing with the manager for about 15 minutes I finally got 10 pounds of the 16 pounds back, so credit to him for doing the smart thing and refunding some of it after my endless persistence after he repeatedly refused, saying there's nothing he could do, not caring that I couldn't eat any of it. Ultimately I paid 6 pounds for a slice of something that barely resembles anything like food and has left me wretching for some time. I say this without exaggerating. If you like extremely greasy, bready, tasteless stomach filler then go ahead and order away. But don't blame me if you decide you've overspent in relation to what you receive. Getting a refund is highly unlikely I would say although I did actually get a partial one so credit to him on that due to my endless perseverance. In this business money is king and customer a mere afterthought after money has been extracted...

This evening we ordered from bistro pizza. The delivery guy sent our order to the wrong address, admitted it on the phone ( even though there was clear notes on the order) and while I was on the phone too him, he laughed while picking it back up from the other person. Then tried to delivery the same food to us. The worst part was he tried to blame the entire thing on me and my partner, which I was not happy with. We have been long term customers of bistro pizza and due to this terrible service this evening we will NOT be eating there again. I understand people make mistakes too, however to deliver it to someone else, where someone else has had their hands all over it, and then deliver it to us - especially in the middle of a pandemic is vile. We also tried to give time to the restaurant to resolve this and they have refused a refund and not given us our food. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We will also be taking this to food hygiene standards agency.
