We went in, on a hot, sunny day, and ordered a couple of items, coffee and scone each. The little butters were completely melted, as were the little pots of jam, went runny in the heat. Would have been a good idea to put these in a fridge, until served to people? Annoying flies and wasps swarming around our table. The staff too busy trying to be "funny/friendly" to do anything about it. I ended up taking my coffee outside where there us a couple of tables. Wasps outside too. If there is a nest, they should get it dealt with? Serving girl started swatting around with an electrical wasp zapper! Still trying to be "friendly/amusing". If they have such a thing to hand, then maybe they should deal with a possible wasps nest nearby? Another couple of people were sat outside, and they took their cups back inside, whereas I forgot to take mine back, my partner was still inside, unbothered by the pests... I heard the iwner say to the other couple.. "I can see you were well brought up".. for taking a cup back inside? He means I wasn't?? I just forgot because I was worried about being stung!! And an elderly woman customer who was also in there, looked at me as if I had stepped off a spaceship! Not a pleasant experience in this...

The menu focuses on crepes and sandwiches, and we opted for a savoury buckwheat galette—so fresh and flavourful. We also tried the Valentine’s Day special, a red velvet crepe with chocolate cream and fresh raspberries—it was indulgent yet perfectly balanced.
The girl working there was especially kind and chatty, adding to the charm of the place. They’re also dog-friendly, which is a great bonus! The coffee was excellent, and the whole café had a cozy, inviting feel. If I lived in Stonehaven, I’d be here at least...

The waitress and the proprietor were absolutely fantastic — so warm and friendly, chatting with us and the kids, which gave the whole place a really welcoming, homely feel. The galettes were magnifique — freshly cooked, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. You can tell everything is made with care. The coffee was top-notch too. A real gem of a place — we’ll...
