CHEEZY — Restaurant in Great Britain

Popped in after my GF saw some of the burgers on her socials. Not only are the prices good for what you get (Most expensive burger being less than £10) but the food goes hard and the guys working there are chill. Got myself the cheezy chicken burger, cheeto cheezy fries and a Vimto Mojiito whilst my GF picked out the Smoked Smashed burger, curly fries and a Bueno milk cake. My burger was lovely. Crispy and moist. Only thing I would change is offering a southern fried patty (or something a bit peppery) to hit off with the cheese sauce. The cheeto cheezy fries were something I got as it sounded fun, the crispy fries, chip spice, cheese sauce and cheeto dusting really worked. My GF wanted to steal them from me. The Vimto Mojito was also nicely balanced, not too minty and overall tasted good. For the GF's burger, in her words, it was one of the best burgers she's had in Hull. Moist and tasty, she especially loved the Turkey Bacon. Her curly fries (Which I helped eat) were great and crispy. They reminded me of a place kids used to go to on their lunch break that did some killer curly fries. Spot on. The Milk cake also tasted good and had a nice creamy taste.

The servings of everything are also rather generous considering the reasonably cheap cost. Definitely worth...

Don't waste your time. Ordered tonight at 1830. At 19:30 I requested an update as my order was due at 19:10. Was called and was told they couldn't complete my order as was out of part of my order I was asked if I wanted something else which I did not. They never offered me a partial refund and told me to go through Uber for a refund as they couldn't cancel the order. Contacted Uber twice and was informed my food was on its way and they could now complete my order. At 20:33 no food had arrived so I called Cheezy again to be told that they were not sending the food and to contact Uber. Uber is unable to do anything as Cheezy is independent and that after the order times out I'll get a refund only for Cheezy to say they delivered my food at 21:41 which is incorrect and my camera footage confirms this and they still refusing to refund. Food is usually spot on here but after this experience I wont be returning as it is not worse the hassle! now having to file a chargeback...

I had this experience on Sunday at around 9:22 PM. I’ve eaten at this place several times about a year ago — almost every week — and the food used to be decent. But today’s experience was absolutely unacceptable. I ordered two Cheesy Burger meals, and the burgers had a strong, disgusting, rotten smell. I couldn’t even finish one bite — it was that bad.

I went to the reception and asked the chef to smell it. He said it was “normal,” but there’s nothing normal about meat smelling like that. It was clearly spoiled.

This is completely unhygienic and disappointing. I ended up throwing both meals in the trash. You really need to take serious action to check the quality and freshness of your ingredients, because this was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a...
