I am saddened to make this review but with my most recent visit I am appalled. I often pop in here to browse the amazing produce but today was different. I entered the store with my father and daughter, I also had a shopping trolley due to health issues. As we were half way around the store an assistant came to me and asked me to put my shopping trolley at the front of the store (it has personal belongings inside) which I declined explaining it had my belongings inside and I wont be putting it out of my sight. She tells me it's new store policy, nowhere does it state that upon entering the store. So I told the assistant we would just leave, which we did. I know full well why they asked me to do that as they more than likely suspected me of shop lifting, which I have never done nor would I do something like that. Being a younger person with visable tattoos, I feel as though I was targeted. I have infact been in the same store with my shopping trolley and no tattoo showing and had no problems. Sadly, I will not be visit this store again....

I visited today with a specific shopping list in mind, which notably did not include ginger or Aubergine . However, upon checking my receipt before leaving, I was surprised to find charges for items I hadn't purchased – 4 pounds for ginger and 3 rupees 75 pence for Aubergine. When I approached the counter to address this discrepancy, the lady attending to me put me on hold for an unreasonable 10 to 15 minutes. Upon her return, her demeanor was anything but accommodating; she displayed a fiery temper and made me feel unwelcome for simply seeking clarification on the charges. This lady's service was horrible, and she didn't even apologize for her big mistake. The experience left me feeling uncomfortable to go there next time, to the point where I felt pressured into not pursuing a refund for the erroneous charges.
