Dwntwn Pizza & Burger — Restaurant in Great Britain

DWNTWN Smash Burrgers opened last week, any reviews before then are from an old business/different owners that were in the same premises.

Decided to give them DwnTwn a go as we were craving burgers and I'm so glad we did! Staff on the till were very welcoming and helped take our order with recommendations.

The wife & I went for their Smash Dwn Burgers 6oz with caramelised onions as a meal. We were feeling really hungry and ordered their M-Eater Pizza as a 12".

Order arrived within 15 minutes of waiting, Smash Dwn Burger was simply beautiful and I couldn't have finished it any quicker! Portion of Ziggy fries were generous and plentiful with a nice selection of condiments with their house sauce an obvious favourite although it has a kick!

Pizza was thin based to my liking and full of delicious toppings although I would've preferred the meat to be underneath the cheese. I enjoyed it nonetheless and also for lunch the next day!

Overall I'm so pleased I visited, will definitely be my favourite spot for Smash Burgers! Staff were very friendly and accommodating and the Uncle & Aunty behind the scenes helping were lovely.

Wanted a late night munch on a Sunday whilst I was in Leicester opted for @dwntwn .. 📍 155A Evington Rd, Leicester LE2 1QJ parked on the main road and also plenty of parking on the side roads. They do take both card and cash payments.

We ordered: 1 9inch Margherita pizza, I opted for the ‘Smash Down’ burger not had a smashed burger in a while and this did not disappoint 🤤 you can get this burger in 3 different sizes 4oz,6oz or 8oz I opted for the 6oz… the burger is 2 Angus grounded beef patties, house sauce, gherkins, american cheeseand served in a brioche bun I got this with the ziggy fries and was the best thing I had on the menu 🤩 also ordered ‘DownTowner Burger’ which was New york style fresh chicken breast marinated in buttermilk, fried to perfection topped with house sauce, gherkins, lettuce and served in a seeded bun Has a kick to it!

I’d defo go back just for the smash burgers 🤤 they are on deliveroo if your local in Leicester.. we did have to wait 25 minute to wait for the food so be prepared to wait if your planning on dining in, also no tissues where provided which could have been added before hand other than that in terms of the...

Amazing burgers!

My family and I travel in from Wigston and have visited Dwntwn a few times and we have not been disappointed on any of our visits!

The place was clean and tidy, with ample seating.

The customer service is excellent. If there are any issues, the staff resolve it quickly and efficiently. The eatery is clearly family run and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. It's nice that the staff remember us on each occasion we visit and took the time to build that relationship with us.

I normally order the Dwntwn burger with caramelised onions, no cheese 😉 and ziggy fries. The burgers are juicy, seasoned well and the ziggy fries are just as they should be, fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside; dipped in the house sauce, absolutely delicious! The kids have the loaded fries which was assembled perfectly, with layers of cheese (instead of the usual just cheese on top as other places do), beef, chicken, Ziggy fries and sauce, so you get all the ingredients in every bite!

We always leave here content and happy. Will definitely keep on returning.
