Is this the best cafe/bar in Bournemouth? Although we were staying in a hotel that does a very nice breakfast,we prefer to eat later without getting up too early. Just a short walk through town and up to the Triangle. The interior is bright and possibly a little camp. Think pink & neon and maybe a flamingo lurking somewhere with a bit a glam. There's wooden table's & chairs, as well as comfy sofas to sink into. It's a very friendly and welcoming space. You can just have a coffee,or choose from an array of freshly prepared food. Whatever side of the fence you are, gluten free, veggie, vegan, they cater to all tastes. But we're not any of those. An all day breakfast is what we are craving. As you enter, find an available seat to settle into and place your order at the counter. This can be difficult at times,as it's a very sort after spot. The breakfast is freshly cooked to order and arrives at the table in no-time. The highlight has got to be the very tasty sausages. At £9.25,it's quite good value. In fact all their prices are very reasonable for the quality and service. In the evening they have different events as well. Our only problem is,when we bring our boys, that's doggies. We can't get out of the place. As so many people want to say hello to them. This is truly the friendliest and best cafe in Bournemouth where everyone is welcome. Oh,and our boys love all the attention.

What a welcoming cafe! We were in Bournemouth for a couple of days to visit some family and we were on the hunt for a good breakfast place! As I muddle through some food intolerances, gluten and dairy free are required options anywhere we eat. My husband was on it. He found Flirt, which was only a 5 minute walk from our Airbnb (it’s a 26 minute walk from the train station and only a 12 minute walk from the Bournemouth Pier). We were also travelling with our two French Bulldogs so dog friendly was on the list of requirements. Flirt checked all the boxes. “Your home from home” is definitely fitting. They’re family owned and everyone was just so friendly. There was a comfy sofa area of seating, and the decor was light and happy. We enjoyed some great conversation and great breakfast. I had the Flirt Smashed Avocado Toast (£4.50) and Trevor had the Flirty Waffles with Bacon (£8.45). We actually ended up going back the next day too because it was so convenient and reasonably priced. The only guaranteed option for gluten free is the toast, but that’s ok- the second day we went back they basically gave me a whole loaf. It was really good and a really comfortable and cute place to relax and enjoy a cappuccino in the morning. Would definitely recommend a stop here if you’re in Bournemouth by the Pier!

I highly recommend this lovely place to everyone. It is what I call all in one experience, meaning it is a cafe, bar, and a restaurant under the same roof. I unexpectedly walked in, and I saw one lady eating their, what they call "Flirt Eggs." It looked amazing, so I ordered the same dish with a large latte. It has been beautifully served, and it had an amazing taste. I really enjoyed it. All staff here are very helpful, approachable, friendly, and kind, including their manager. They made me feel welcomed. The chef is skilled and thorough in his job, and he puts lots of effort into creating dishes to the highest level of excellence. The kitchen porter is putting lots of effort into making sure everything is nice and clean. There is definitely good teamwork here. The whole atmosphere is welcoming and calming, filled only with positive energy. Following this experience, I will definitely come back again. Thank you to all staff here for making my experience so pleasant today following my painful dentist visit earlier today. 😀 You really put smile on my face. 💗💗💗

A few months ago, a " trans people and their allies" group tried to have me thrown out for wearing a Trump 2024 cap . Hardly an inclusive environment. The "transperson" alerted the male staff member, let's call him "C", who proceeded to call me right wing. He knew nothing about me. He claimed the cafe to be a safe space and I that I shouldn't be wearing the cap. His degree in politics , in his opinion, trumped (no pun intended) my actual knowledge of the would be President and his political policies. "C" was very rude in front of me and my female friend, who spends a small fortune there. At the time , I thought it would be juvenile to write a scathing review and chose to deal with it by having a word with the manager the next time I saw him, which I did.

Everything was ok until tonight. I've gone in for the quiz, minding my own business, with the same female friend. The manager asked me to leave unless I removed my Trump cap, "It's political.... this is a safe space...... he's said some dangerous things..." were the reason. I chose to leave and won't return. Unjustified discrimination against me. Ironically, this "safe space" is the only cafe where I've had any trouble. Given hassle by the very people the staff think they are protecting. Unfortunately we live in an upside down world. The woke liberals, believing the controlled mainstream media sound bites, cannot be saved from their own ignorance.

On the plus side, there are still other independent outlets in The Triangle area which serve equally good coffee without indoctrinated , woke liberal staff preaching on a subject something they know...

Having to hang around in town for an hour whilst we waited for a watch to be repaired, there's only one thing to do... breakfast?!

My 7yo son and myself were greeted as we entered the cafe bar. It was quite busy and there were currently no tables available, but there was a couple of skoda's spare, so we were assured that if we order our food, we'd be sat at table by the time our order arrived.

We selected our orders from the menu and ordered and paid for our meal at the counter. The service team on the counter where the perfect balance between being courteous and relaxed.

As promised we were offered a suitable table as soon as one was available and our order was delivered to our table a short while later.

Our order arrived hot and the server offered us a selection of sauces etc along with what was on the table.

The food (1x small and 1x large breakfast) was a very good quality and arrived hot. With toast that was the thick doorstop style; similarly the bacon was a thick cut. The sasuages served are a premium breakfast style. Eggs were sunnyside up, tomatoes were seasoned well and the beans were served in a small ramekin on the plate.

We both enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. We found both the sofa and chairs at the table to be comfortable. The decor complimented the atmosphere.

We have considered doing a monthly breakfast with the boys and I think weve just found the...
