Well what a little gem I found here. On a night out with my daughter to explore Bournemouth we stumbled across the four horseman and seeing as it was the name of some serious hardcore producers from the 90s, and the sign said "90s & 2000s" it was rude not to check it out. And my, I was in for a treat. While upstsirs was the usual super fast and soulless jump up, downstairs in the tiny basement club they were playing some of the finest hardcore and jungle I've heard of in a long time - and I go out in London regularly. This was actually a send off for the death of someone who was an old school teacher - RIP Dennis - and we were very lucky to be part of that. DJ John and the other djs played tunes I hadn't heard of for a good while, and they just kept on rolling. What was supposed to be one stock turned into to staying the 3 hours until it closed at 2. Lovely people, good value drinks, great atmosphere and PHENOMENAL music. I hope they do more events with that music, as they will be very popular in my circle indeed. In fact, we have done djs in the group with a serious selecttion if hardcore and jungle who...

I know there are so meany other places you can go but even still. Any way so my friend and myself had a chicken pulled pork burger topped with onion rings for lunch Don't get me wrong it was very nice but I was disappointed as we paid around £11 to 12 each for this and that is all we had no complementary side salad or even a few chips just thought for the cost I was expecting a lot more and to make things worse the condiments were not branded I think they were got from a Aldi own brand. But other and that gr8 place to start...
Read moreWhere do I start!... this pub has it all. The beer selection is varied and broad. Food is creative pub grub, with options that make it pretty good for a veggie like me. If you're into guitar based music then your ears will not be disapointed. The juke box is pumping out tune after tune. They also had a guy playing some vinyls at one stage. My highlight was Pink Floyd Echoes. I tried 4 beers I had never heard of. 2 bottles from Belgium and 2 UK craft ales. All were delicious but a little expensive. But considering the quality and unique selection I don't think the pub is overpriced... it was more that I was choosing the most expensive bottles in the fridge. I think the taps and pumps were cheaper. In my opinion this is in the top 3 best pubs in...
