KFC Thurrock - Lakeside Food Court — Restaurant in Great Britain

Came to this restaurant with hopes of some good service and some of the colonels succulent white stuff. This isn't what me and two of my bro's received. What we was given was a bad attitude, manky fries and a warm Pepsi. I am also led to believe that this KFC restaurant has in fact forgotten the definition of fast food, as queuing up, placing my order and receiving my food took a total of 20 minutes. It took me a while to figure out why on earth there was a team of 15 in the back and it still taking so long. Turns out 15 people must have been cooking one order at a time. Now, I know fast food managers like to promote teamwork. But this isn't a game of rugby. This is putting chicken in a box and passing it over a counter. After the server couldn't quite understand my simple order, and me repeating it a number of times, he seemed to get angry when I slowly recited my order for his convenience. That's not how you treat customers when working your way up to one day be the colonels right hand man. Very happy with the level of service given. Had a good chat with the man who served us and he professionally didnt let conversation get in the way of work. Food came quickly and was very tasty as the colonel intended. Only one problem was he forgot to put a straw on my tray but that was the worst bit as it cost me a short walk from my table to the counter, didnt bother me in the slightest. Not sure why all the other reviews are negative as this was quite a pleasant experience and i shall be dining here again. I think what may have contributed to the good service in comparison to the other reviews are that today is a very quiet day for Lakeside and the others may have been there on a busy day. I know how the workers feel as i work in fast food myself and it can get very stressful on many levels when its busy. Always nice to come and have a look to see what's on offer! You know, that night where you don't know what to have? 🤔 Last time out I decided to try Chicktopia, glad I did aswell, better than KFC?
