What an unassuming but lovely surprise of a restaurant. My Wife and I were a little stuck when we ventured down Leigh-on-Sea as we didn’t book anywhere to eat and most places were full that Friday night. We eventually found Paragon which looks unassuming from the outside but that was misleading as the food was beautifully presented and really stunning. How this place is wasn’t fully booked up as well is hard to fathom. The attention we received from the staff was friendly, genuine, attentive and they could not help enough which for us is a massive plus in a restaurant. Even the Chef came out to explain in detail the dishes we were eating. Their signature lamb dish (cooked slowly for ten hours in preparation for that evening), was a real delight and as we witnessed many other dishes pass by our table its was obvious that their menu was all top quality. Unreal food!!! 😍😍 We visited Le Paragon in the new year for the first time to try something new and it seriously exceeded all expectations. The food and service was genuinely incredible. We were a group of 6 and each and every one of us sung such high praises of the food which we all know can be a rarity when you go out as a bigger group. We took the advice to get the chef’s recommended dishes which were the pork belly, beef bourguignon, and the lamb shoulder and they all looked and tasted amazing. I would genuinely say it offers the best food along the broadway if you want to have something a little more special. The restaurant’s atmosphere was so lovely and cosy, and the staff were extremely friendly and caring. I cannot wait to go back, I’ve raved to everyone I know about this...
