🍝 NEW IN SWANSEA! There’s a brand new slice of Italy in town and you’re going to want to RUN not walk to Luigi’s Ristorante 🇮🇹
📍Right in the heart of Swansea City Centre, Luigi’s brings authentic Italian charm with a cosy, modern twist – and the food? 🤌 Bellissimo doesn’t even cut it.
🍷 Swansea and Italians go way back – and this new partnership just makes perfect sense. We were lucky enough to be invited down for a taste, and WOW… 😍
🍕 Let’s talk about the food…
🧄 Garlic Bread – warm, crispy edges, soft centre, and the garlicky goodness dreams are made of.
🍕 Margherita Pizza – classic, simple, but packed with flavour. Proper Neapolitan vibes with that melty mozzarella and fresh tomato base.
🍝 Lasagna – my absolute FAVE. Layers of rich ragu, silky béchamel and perfectly baked pasta. It genuinely felt like Nonna made it fresh in Tuscany! 🇮🇹
🍳 Spaghetti Carbonara (child’s portion) – beautifully presented, creamy and comforting, with that peppery pancetta magic. Even the mini portion stole the show!
💫 Every dish was a 10/10 – full of love, flavour and Italian soul.
🎥 Whether you’re out for a cosy date night, family dinner, or catching up with friends – Luigi’s is your new go-to for real Italian food done right.

Read moreBest Italian around, we were searching the menu for an artichoke side dish and the chef asked what we were looking for. It wasn't on the menu but he offered to make us a trial dish. When it came it was wonderful! The artichoke pieces were cooked in a tempura batter just as we'd had previously in Rome. We had that as a starter then 2 pasta dishes and followed up with tiramisu. The dishes were tasty, nicely presented and served quickly. The staff were all extremely helpful and polite. The pricing was appropriate for the dishes, we were not charged for the trial artichoke dish which we had been prepared to pay for. The bill came with complimentory Lemonchello shots. We had a lovely experience and are planning to return very soon and take family and...
Read moreOverall we had an ok experience. I had the spaghetti carbonara and the swordfish ravioli. After seeing pictures on the reviews I had high hopes but was disappointed. The portion of food was HUGE which is obviously lovely but sadly the food was not great and did not appear as “fresh/homemade pasta”. The carbonara was tasteless but the ravioli was tasty. The service was brilliant I could not fault it, however the atmosphere was awful, some ceiling tiles were missing and where there use to be a pond in the previous chinese restaurant they’ve now filled it...
