Exceptional Customer Service Experience with Fareen at MakHalal in Cardiff

I recently had the pleasure of dining at MakHalal in Cardiff, and I must commend Fareen, one of their outstanding customer service workers, for providing an exceptional experience. From the moment I entered the restaurant, Fareen's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home.

Fareen's knowledge and passion for the menu were evident as she patiently guided me through the various options and helped me choose the perfect meal. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure that all of my dietary preferences and restrictions were taken into consideration.

What truly stood out was Fareen's attentiveness throughout the entire meal. She consistently checked on my table, ensuring that I had everything I needed and that my experience was nothing short of fantastic. Her genuine interest in my satisfaction was evident, and it made the dining experience at MakHalal all the more memorable.

Not only was Fareen attentive, but she also displayed exceptional professionalism and efficiency. Despite the restaurant being busy, she managed to handle multiple tables with ease and grace, never compromising on the quality of service she provided. Her ability to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor under pressure truly impressed me.

Moreover, Fareen's genuine passion for MakHalal's cuisine and her willingness to share her knowledge added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience. She was more than happy to answer my questions about the ingredients and preparation methods, which further enhanced my appreciation for the food.

I cannot emphasize enough how Fareen's outstanding service contributed to making my visit to MakHalal truly special. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and dedication to customer satisfaction were unparalleled. The combination of her warmth and professionalism left a lasting impression on me, and I would highly recommend seeking out Fareen's exceptional service when visiting MakHalal in Cardiff.

In conclusion, Fareen's exemplary customer service skills, along with her genuine passion for her work, elevated my dining experience at MakHalal to new heights. Her unwavering commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction is a true testament to her dedication and professionalism. MakHalal is fortunate to have such an outstanding individual as Fareen on their team. I look forward to returning to MakHalal and experiencing Fareen's exceptional service once again.

Thank you, Fareen, for going above and beyond to make my visit truly memorable!

There was a spike in town regarding MAK Halal opening up and being a foodie, I was eager to give it a try.

Experience 1: Ordered the Triple Mak Meal and waited approximately 30 minutes for the order to be served. I was shocked to see the poor customer service especially because of mismanagement where the staff seemed completely untrained. The owner was polite and reassuring but the setback came when I was told "we're busy" which completely made no sense as a franchise is bound to be busy and you need the right people and spot on management to manage it. Finally, my token number was called out and as mentioned it was a take away, the food was prepared for dine in. However, the lady on the collection counter was helpful to return the food back to the kitchen to be bagged which surprisingly took another 15 minutes. It seemed the lady knew nothing about what she was doing or was meant to do as she was in a turmoil mixing orders and even unaware what actually the menu options were which were being packed. To add a flair into the disappointing experience, the long haired team member on the grill was picking raw chicken with bare hands before placing them on the grill for cooking which reflected the unhygienic practice at the eatery. The food was served cold in the end and left me disappointed.

Food taste: 3.5/5 Quality: 4/5 Packaging: 5/5 Customer service: 3/5 Management: 1/5 Staff: 2/5

Experience 2: The following day I visited again and was content to an extent. The mismanagement and confused state of the team continued with low levels of customer service with a waiting time of 25 minutes despite the eatery not being too busy which reflects the incompetency and lack of training of the team. I ordered the Pepper Mak Meal and as the last experience, the food was of good quality and taste. Once again, the lady did not bother putting in salt for the fries 🍟 and was completely lost to her surroundings with a turmoil situation evident in the kitchen.

Food taste: 5/5 Quality: 4/5 Packaging: 5/5 Customer service: 2.5/5 Management: 1/5 Staff: 2/5

Considering the quality and taste of food, the eatery is one of the places I recommend and will be a regular customer but the management, staff attitude and knowledge along with customer service and hygiene needs to improve otherwise I'm sure customers...

Alright hear me now, I decided to take a little holiday with my friends to wales but then again still looking for good tasting food in wales. We came across Mak Halal in Cardiff which acc didn’t open until around a month ago. In my opinion is a true hidden gem in the fast food halal culinary space of the UK . This a place with amazingly friendly staff, spectacular fast food and a very nice Morden aesthetic and interior which allows the feeling of not to just come for the culinary fast food experience but also the vibe of the restaurant and if even eat in if you want as it’s such a nice place, they even have really nice and clean toilet which is always great.

Bacon smashed burger - truly succulent smashed beef patty with beautiful flavours working in perfect symphony with each other in the overall burger. I got some onions and pickles added and if it was already in the burger another level of elevation to the already high standard of burger. The seeded bun was soft and fluffy and there wasn’t too much sauce so it was the perfect bun for the job the slice of cheddar cheese was a bit of a twist on the smash patty goodness but it was still a lovely new touch. 8.3/10

Doner kebab sandwich - very good flavouring , different texture then I’m used to but there’s nothing wrong with a bit of change, is it better than GdK, yes 100%. The bun was soft but with an element of crispy, the Algerian sauce that came with was beautiful and chock full of flavour. 7.8/10

Fries were absolutely beautiful, thin like McDonald’s fries but with some much more substance to them ratio of crispness to fluffiness is absolutely amazing, some of the best fast food fries I’ve ever had. I truly that fries have levels you can have great fries with salt but phenomenal fries are ones that can be eaten with no salt, pepper or vinegar which allows for pure enjoyment which these fries were to my welcomed surprise. 9/10

My friend told me before I ate this that what if this food is some of the best food I’ve reviewed and it’s in Cardiff well it’s sad to say she was right and coming from someone from London it’s truly unfortunate the aren’t in London currently They should definitely branch out to London and places like it because they have something special there. Overall, 8.6/10

As a new member of the Cardiff Dine In Forum, I was asked to review the new Birmingham burger based business Mak Halal for the next issue with my colleague. Located on a corner inner-midst Albany Road, it was a vibrant orange and standout to the road. The long queues on opening weekend is something of note. i avoided fridays long rush and gladly did. I had heard rumblings earlier that week through a friend they would cancel their 50% off promotion opening day, which was true. I had heard through a reliable source that they allowed customers to queue for an hour, deceiving them of the promotion, only to come to the cashier desk and be told no promotion was in sight. Obviously, in those conditions, you just order anyways due to a long wait and be slightly agitated you were led on false pretences. Something to note was on opening day, one of the employees Amaani was kind to us and treated us with upmost respect. She was attentive to her work and was not shy to answer all our queries. She was one of the striking moments for opening day. We eventually decided to dine in on Saturday, which was when these photos were taken. The wait for a shorter 10-20 minutes. The food came hot and smelt divine. I opted for a beef burger where as my colleague opted for a chicken burger. We were both impressed with our food, Cardiff finally has a good contender for its burgers! They were lovely and just hit oh so right! Also to note, the cashier whose name I didn’t capture with a hijab was so helpful and knew the menu well to recommend us something to our needs! Kutos to her! Overall, it’s somewhere I would likely to return again. To note though, they need to iron out all the bad business practices from opening day pronto to stay afloat in the ever changing food district of Albany/City Road. The food can trump this though. 4/5 Stars - can be five, but an improvement on business practice. Areez

Very very good place for pizza, burgers and wraps. only reason I haven't rated 5* is due to a slight lack of cleanliness, we had to ask for our chosen table to be cleaned before we sat down. The menu was well designed but when it comes to pizza, I prefer sizes to be listed in inches and not a generic 'small' or 'large' option as that could mean anything. in this case their 'large' was around 12". The food arrived in good time and was very well prepared and at the right temperature. I originally had a feeling that the items were slightly pricey but the burgers were a very big size and if anything the menu picture didn't do justice to the Mexicana burger I ordered for myself in terms of size and contents. The taste was very very good for what we ordered and overall decent value for money. Maybe a little more variety with drinks could be looked at.
