Was hungry at home 2am, nothing open. Decided to go somewhere new and travelled down from the valleys to try oodles. Certainly not a journey I’ll regret. 10/10. Bang bang. Gold scar level loot. Copped myself the large box with spicy chips, egg fried rice and caramel chicken all paired with katsu chicken sauce. Added some salt and pepper wings on the side because why wouldn’t I? Every part of this meal was unbelievable. The wait was quick and the boys here provided great service. All this combined with a clean, sound environment and chill music provided an excellent atmosphere and I could not complain about a thing. I had the pleasure of visiting Oodles Wok new shop in Cardiff, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a modern yet cozy vibe that’s perfect for a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner.

The menu is packed with mouth-watering options, and the staff were incredibly helpful in guiding me through their best dishes. The noodles were cooked to just the right texture and the portion sizes are generous, too — great value for money.

The service was impeccable; the team was friendly, attentive, and ensured everything was spot on.

Had the regular box and extra signature oodles wings.came to £12.40 total I choose the Szechuan rice and idon with spicy Malaysian Chicken sauce and crispy prawns. The rice had a nice spicy Szechuan peppercorn seasoning which leaves a lovely peppery after taste and the udon had a good texture came with a lovely rich spicy tangy sauce which resembles of a Pekinese sauce topped with a few crispy coated prawns. The wings were spot on nice and spicy with a canalised coating to capture all that tangy flavoured sauce. Obviously the ultimate question is, would I go back?
