The quality of the food is not up for debate, it really is lovely, the problem we have with the place is how much they are charging for it, £20-£25 for most main courses is a lot of money for some chicken and rice, £14 for poppadums for 4 ppl but most shocking of all was the £9 for a bottle of Cobra larger! a drink you can buy in Tescos for £2.70 but this is par for the course in Windsor nowadays where we are being hammered everywhere we go for drinks and food, its crazy how expensive everywhere is becoming, they are cutting their own throats because ppl cannot afford to go out to those places any more hence why Weatherspoons is rammed every night because their drinks are cheap in comparison to most of these places, a few years ago you couldnt get into the Mango lounge at the weekend it was always full, the place was half empty last night, I doubt we will be going back anytime soon, not because of the food, sadly because of how much they are charging for it! and to rub salt in the wounds they stick a 10% service charge on the bill and put it in tiny writing that they have added a discretionary service charge, thats wrong! the "GRAND TOTAL" should be before any tips or service charge is added, its very deceptive because it looks like thats what you have to pay when in fact 10% has been added, its wrong and something should be...
Read moreMe and my family went to have dinner at the Mango Lounge Windsor last night and we had an excellent dining experience! We were immediately served an assortment of popadoms with four different types of chutneys, each one more delicious than the last. Then we ordered the starter platter which was a masterclass in variety and flavor. The selection of chicken, fish, prawns and lamb was cooked to perfection. The mutton ribs were a standout – tender, juicy, and full of flavour. For the mains we ordered chicken curry and butter chicken, which was actually customized to my nephew's liking. Chefs did an excellent job of adjusting the dish to suit his taste. The fresh nan and garlic nan were both amazing. Drinks were their mango mojitos which were just so refreshing. For dessert, we ordered their mango ice cream and mango creme brulee both of which were incredible. The mango flavours were rich and vibrant. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious dining experience.

Read moreI must say, this was quite an interesting experience with ups and downs.
It started off very quiet, then suddenly became very busy, with the staff managing both dine-in guests and takeout orders. I think this affected their performance.
The food was exceptional authentic, traditional Indian cuisine that truly transported me to India.
However, aside from the food, the rest of the evening was disappointing. The host and waitresses seemed overwhelmed, creating a chaotic atmosphere on the restaurant floor. I felt rushed while ordering, and servers came by twice to take my order, even after I had already placed it.
Despite feeling hurried, the food took an unusually long time to arrive, and I struggled to get the staff's attention when I needed something, only to be ignored and made to wait even longer.
I would return for the outstanding food, but I hope they can improve on last...
