Came here this week for their sea food boils considering it's the only eat in place in Leicester for it! Was served immediately by Vhesh - he was super polite, really friendly and chill, and also really attentive. He was working the bar and saw my laying out some shells on a napkin to dispose of and he came over with a little bucket to help make it easier and less messy for us - also gave us gloves and aprons to make it less messy for us too. Meant that I was happy to pay the 10% service charge. Explained the sea food boils really well too. Ordered the Lobster Tail (£28) and the Crab Cluster (£30) sea food boils, both really good portion size and good quality seafood. Comes with a choice rice or chips but opted for chips, along with a corn on the cob, potatoes and a boiled egg as well as a tub of sauce you can pour all over your dish. Visited this restaurant after seeing their food on their instagram page but the service was absolutely terrible. Ordered lobster tail and Bang Bang Prawn roll and the prawns were not deveined. Asked the waitress if she could sort this out and she was so rude and said it’s supposed to be like that. What restaurant that’s supposed to specialise in seafood leaves the customer to clean and pick out the prawn poo from their own food? It’s understandable if it’s one or two prawns but it was every single one on the burger and sea food platter. I don’t understand why you expect customers to eat food that’s not been cleaned throughly, if you don’t clean it then let the customer know in advance so they can pick something else. Even after the staff had seen that the food was untouched, they still charged us the full price plus service fee. Absolutely poor customer service, hygiene and lack of professionalism. We just left this place and have to be honest, we struggled to find anything good about it. Burger was dry as cardboard as if maybe it had been pre cooked and reheated. Mac n Cheese was very peppery and mostly cheese. Snow crab wasn’t seasoned at all really and we found it strange it was served with an extremely dry boiled egg (that’s a first in the world). Chicken burger just as over peppery as the mac n cheese, our daughter couldn’t finish either because of this. The alleged waiter then decided to take one item at a time from the table and took the drinks that were not finished without asking and before even taking the food plates. I don’t think we’ve ever in the world experienced such a poor service all round. As restaurant owners in Thailand this is the first time ever we haven’t left a tip at all and to be honest we’re tempted to ask them to take off the £9.10 service charge, but they probably would have screwed that up too or...
