We had such an amazing time at Escape Leicesterâhonestly one of the best escape rooms we've done! We chose the Echoes of Madness room, and it was absolutely brilliant: eerie atmosphere, clever puzzles, and a solid storyline that kept us engaged from start to finish. It definitely lived up to the nameâcreepy in all the right ways without being over-the-top.
What really made the experience even better were our fantastic game masters, Rick and Ben. From the moment we walked in, they were welcoming, funny, and made the whole process smooth and enjoyable. A huge shoutout to Rick, who guided us through the game when we got stuck. His hints were spot onâjust enough to get us back on track without giving too much away. With his help, we actually managed to escape with only 8 seconds left on the clock! Talk about a close call!
The room was challenging but fair, and every puzzle felt rewarding to solve. The attention to detail in the room design was impressive, and the overall experience felt immersive from start to finish. Honestly, it was 100% worth the price, especially with the quality of the game and the top-tier staff.
If you're looking for a fun, slightly spooky, and super satisfying escape room, Echoes of Madness at Escape Leicester is the one. Weâll definitely be back to...
Read moreThis is a review specifically for the game Echoes of Madness. I will focus on the experience we had without giving out any spoilers. Apart from being horribly difficult, this was the least fun escape room game we have played so far. We were not told what we were looking for or what the end goal of the game was. A little more of the backstory would have helped because some of the items in the room did not make sense. For some of the puzzles, there is no way anybody could have solved it without any help, not because they were difficult, but because they did not make any sense (I don't mean any disrespect to the complexity of the puzzles here). This game was meant to be scary, but it really wasn't (that's coming from me who gets scared very easily). Apart from one jumpscare, nothing unpredictable. Even after the game ended there were a couple of locked boxes in the room which I donât understand the reason for. So, if you are looking to have a scarily fun experience, this isn't it, its not scary (maybe very mildly scary). I had expected a scarier experience and can imagine escape rooms being scarier. If you just want to have some fun, choose another game. We have a played a couple of other games like Alice in Leicesterland which...
Read moreAmazing service. We turned up at the wrong venue, after climbing what felt like a million stairs and being told were at the wrong place, we then ran to this venue about 2 minutes away. After realising we're not short distance runners we were met by Mr G and another lovely guy (who i forgot the name of sorry!) We caught our breath and honestly the hospitality from Mr G was amazing. He was funny and could tell he loved his job. We then went into echoes of madness and my god, it was just the right amount of difficulty without it being impossible and the spookiness was the right amount. We had to do a dance in the camera for a clue to appease the Mr G God that he is, and we did infact manage to complete it. The most amazing part was even though we were late, we still had the entire hour as well as a little bit extra as we were so close to completing it and I think Mr G felt sorry for us đ all in all it was an amazing experience thanks to Mr G and we will happily return as often as possible. Thanks for an...
