Schooner Inn — Restaurant in Great Britain

Love this pub we have been coming here for years ,but as a lot of places in seahouses dogs are an issue for us , can you not have a small designationd area for no dogs , you have a beautiful extension can you not accomodate these people there ,my partner is asthmatic, very allergic to dogs and he struggles in pubs , we both love your pub and atmosphere, but the dog issue spoils it , a small area would be perfect for dog free where people with small children could also use , but apart from that . ....a lovely welcoming pub ,fab beer I say try it you wong be disappointed,excellent friendly staff attentive...

Great pub , visited in Feb 2023 , lots of screens for rugby , football to be shown. Mainly a locals pub but they are very friendly and up for a bit of banter. Leeds v Man U was on with a couple of Man U supporter's, was a great atmosphere. We visited 4 or 5 times during our stay and enjoyed every visit. We arrived very cold one late afternoon and were quickly pointed toward table near open fire , they even chucked another log on !! Nice pub, royally entertained by a group of holiday makers complete with guitarist. Great singsong.

Mind you I can only agree with a previous review that guy behind the bar is the most miserable barman I have ever seen. He managed to serve me four drinks without looking at me once or talking to me and so slow as well. Mind you he did manage to say thank you when I paid. God only knows why he doing a job he has no enthusiasm for. Must upset a lot...
