Well as a loca,l my husband and myself frequently stop off here for lunch on my weekend off, food always good, service always good and prices good. However recently its changed hands and to be honest we shall not be returning. The food was OK but the add on prices well! I had an omelette a 3 egg one which cost me £5 lot of money for just 3 eggs as I found out at bill time that charged me an extra £1 for cheese so I am now on £6 for an basic omelette and then ANOTHER £1 for a few bits of ham so a wacking £7 for a rather mediocre basic cheese and ham omelette. As as local and directly because of this we will never return, I felt conned by them everywhere we have been in the world an omelette has cheese as a basic requirement apart from it seems Taylors now in Llandudno, surprised I wasn't charged for the oil used to cook it, I feel £5 is rather extortionate for just 3 egg beaten in a pan to make a difficult to digest, unappetizing lump of egg. My husbands usual BLT was made with cheaper thinner bread but at the same price as the old owners. So back to the Prince Albert for us where for a few pounds more you will get a...
Read moreThe lady that served us was bubbly and friendly, really lovely. Our sons enjoyed their milkshakes and my wife liked her coffee, mine was more froth than coffee. Overall the other meals were OK but the chicken and mushroom pie was truly awful, absolutely terrible. A puff pastry lid does not make a pie. The filling was very salty and generally horrible. I thought that it looked like cat food although my wife thought vomit. Either way I found it inedible. I would not have eaten it regardless but the piece of bone was the end of any attempt. We were asked if our meals were alright but at that point I had not discovered just how bad my pie was. Subsequently the lady that served us was so busy that we hardly saw her. I understand that I should have said something but I really didn't get the opportunity and my thinking was that anywhere that could serve something so bad was not going...

We have lots of criteria that has to be met to be called a Great breakfast. Size,Quality of meat, running eggs, crispy hash browns,Proper butter, size, drinks and service. This is to name but a few. Taylors of llandudno meets all of these. What a fantastic place. A lovely warm welcome. And a nice comfy chair. Really enjoyable proper decaff coffee, A great big breakfast. Fantastic sausages and fried bread. But by far and wide the service from Ellie was the best I have ever encountered. She was so warm and welcoming and she could not have done any more to make us feel welcome. The carrot cake was also sublime. Thank you all so much. We will see you again. Also I loved Sue's...
