Three Eateries in One Place! 1) Ed's Easy Diner - British chain inspired of American Diners. 2) Harry Ramsend's - famous Fish & Chips chain of restaurants 3) Cafe Carluccio's - Italian Restaurants founded in London. All with limited menus focusing mainly on breakfasts or easy, very basic Mains in more or less British style. We tried Ed's Easy Diner breakfast options and those been really ok. Nothing extraordinary but decent, fine quality food. There are just few places in City Centre with possibility to have early food so still good to get one more. From Carluccio's we have had ordered scones with green ☕ and APRICOT & PISTACHIO FRANGIPANE slice of 🍰 and this last dessert was tbh worth to come to this Food Court. Service was really kind and try to do everything to meet customers expectations but unfortunately of high amount of those the tables were far from acceptable condition. Everything was charged for £30 which is very reasonable price these days ///////////////////////////////////////////// Our 2nd visit after 2months happened yesterday. Harry Ramsden's 'Famous Fish🐟 & Chips🍟' on high demand (First time chance to try it). The food was good quality and very tasty (especially Tartare sauce & massive portion of mushy peas 😋). The only one problem we had was that portion was a bit too small. And we are not talking about personal capabilities 😅 just simply general we think it was not really impressive in size. But from other side - the price was low (for today's standards) - £8.95 - so can't complain so much. Again we had situation with very dirty tables 🤢 and this time service wasn't so kind as before saying gently. Still we thinking that overall is one of the Bests Early-birdy eateries in Town 👍 if you're not really getting to serious with An Eye to the details 🙂

We ordered two fish and chips as the menu was so basic that we thought that would be the best. Oh were we wrong! The fish was small, but ok. The chips on the other hand were all black and grey and the two edible ones tasted horrible. They must have been the cheapest chips ever !! We ate the fish, but took the chips back to the counter. We were offered a refund for the chips only, which we took. We will NEVER eat there again, and would advise everyone to do the same. The cafe used to be quite nice when run by Sainsbury's, but it has well and truly hit rock bottom.

We were pleasantly surprised by the Harry Ramsden’s fish and chips. Much better than expected. Fresh cod fish with a light batter that is not greasy. The mash green pea is also pretty good, which I didn’t expect. Location of the restaurant hub is by the river. There are some tables with view of the river which is nice. A rather popular hang out place here as we see locals gather with friends for coffee and FOO’s here.

This is an ideally situated close to the Marina and was a regular stopping off place for us when we walked around the Marina with our grandchildren. We missed the cafe when it closed and was eager to visit when it reopened in its current format - our visits after it opened sadly were not good, probably due to new staff getting use to systems etc.

It has improved - a lot .

However, earlier this week, we visited and there were no sandwiches, afternoon teas etc , only cooked meals.

This morning my wife with two of our grandchildren visited for breakfast, only to be disappointed as no hot food was being served.

Very disappointed and hope that the management can resolve the issues soon and a reliable service can be...

I can't imagine what Sainsbury's are thinking. Quite a few of us in the restaurant when we visited just wanting a cuppa and maybe a bit of lunch but even those minimal requirements proved difficult. Very little choice, a scone that looked like a rock cake (Sainsbury's sell very good scones!), no atmosphere, We used to really like Sainsbury's cafe restaurants for breakfast or a snack before shopping but we fear they have outsourced their cafe area and the tenants are unable to sell even Sainsbury's own cold food for some reason. We suggest go to Tesco's cafe instead....
