This used to be my favourite place to have a Sunday Dinner. Probably the most disappointing Sunday Dinner in a while. There was a copious amount of potatoes; roasties, dauphinois and sweet potato. The sweet potato, for me, does not go well with a dinner, please bring back carrots and parsnips. Sack of the dauphinois… what an absolute devastation. Where’s the cauli cheese at??? Not only that the meat was cold and dry af. Watery gravy. Completely burnt and rock hard yorkies. Worst of all I had a SPRINKLING of stuffing, barely any on the plates. Service was a bit slow but graciously took on our unhappiness with the meal and did not charge us. I hope they change the menu back, as during covid I used to get takeaway dinners from here and they were superb. However, I won’t be running back any time soon.

First time here since it's changed hands, we will definitely be returning. The decor and seats were so lovely and comfortable, they played nice music that complemented the ambiance. But the staff was the biggest thing that separated it from other venues, so friendly and welcoming. Our dog received 5* treatment, she might as well have been royalty. Thanks to the amazing chap who served us (didn't catch his name, he had a french accent), we are already looking forward to our next visit and will be bringing friends

Visited twice, on a thursday afternoon and a sunday evening, very friendly girl welcomed us, ordered Mahou beers and she made us a very tasty chicken and bacon ciabatta with fries and coleslaw to share it was very enjoyable, returned for a cocktail again sat outside in the sunshine, enjoyed both our visits :)

Myself and my brother went to Diablo’s for breakfast on Saturday morning as we wanted to try something new. To say it was a mistake is an understatement. We first turned up at 8:50am to be told they open at 9am. So we went for a walk for 10 mins. When we came back at 9am we were then told the chef was running late with an emergency but we were welcome to wait with a coffee. As we had already waited 10 minutes we decided to wait a little longer. The coffee was below par to start. The chef turned up 40 mins late and took 39 mins to cook our food, even serving someone who had come in after us first. When the food finally came the sausage, egg and toast was over cooked and the bacon undercooked. It was disappointing to say the least. Anyway, we just paid up and let that be it and decided not to visit again. We thought that would be the worst part of it, but no. Upon leaving the restaurant we walked out to see the chef (who had just cooked our food) throwing up onto the street. We both felt instantly disgusted and wanted to get far away from there. Since this happening my brother has been violently ill. This is a serious food safety standards issue and should be looked into. Absolutely horrific and disgusted this is what £30 gets...

An amazing afternoon that was second to none I’ve ever had!!! We were served fantastic, tasty home made food, had lots of drinks and were entertained by an excellent band with top notch live music. This place really has got it all. Customer service was superb, it was VIP treatment all the way for their customers and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and the way we were treated, a special mention goes out to the one in a million Bleddyn and the fabulous Alex who went above and beyond their duties to make our time a most pleasurable one. Our little family had a wonderful afternoon and will be returning shortly after our holiday. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart to you guys at Diablos for making the day extra special...
