Me and my friends attended this bar last night 7th May atmosphere seemed good as we were down from Aberdeen went to order a drink and was told it was closed time being 11.20pm was not closed other people were being served by the other barman, this particular barman with a grey tshirt on was so bloody rude and abrupt for no reason told us to leave after telling another couple sssh pretend to them ie us the bar was closed. When asked what his problem was he told us what part of this don't you understand we are closed and to leave, so rude and bad mannered not to mention was not closed would not recommend this bar purely due to customer service of staff really...
Read moreIt's a hit or miss with here. The drinks are reasonably priced and the music can be good at times. The issues would be the sizing- it is too small and therefore too loud to the point it can be unenjoyable. This place can also be extremely unwelcoming if you are not a local. Some of the clientele are extremely rude and look at you as if you are beneath them. Not the best place if you're just wanting to have fun without being judged, and the fact this place has LGBT decor plastered everywhere and is anything but welcoming is quite ironic...
Read moreCan't fault the place. It doesn't matter what gender or sexualoty you are, if you don't have fun here then you have serious issues.
The banter is too notch, the prices are reasonable and, I can't vouch for anyone else, but if Big Ross is behind the decks then you're in safe hands. The staff are amazing, the management are legends, if you give this place a miss then you're seriously missing out.
Even as a straight man, a night out in Dundee isn't complete without a few jars...
