Absolutely the worst customer service and as for the manager , I have no words . In for lunch , which to be fair was quite poor , my daughter opened the tomato sauce and the bottle literally exploded all over us . 4 staff and the manager at the bar and not one of them came to see if we were ok . I summoned over a staff member , who was apologetic , but the whole time the manager ignored us completely . Eventually she came over , slapped a receipt on the table and told us she had refunded our meals . While this was going on , we were being laughed at and heckled by a group of 9 grown men , who accused us of doing this to get a refund , which we NEVER asked for . I spoke to the manager about their behaviour and her attitude was disgusting , telling me this was a pub , not a restaurant , and wasn’t interested in the fact we had to listen to the constant use of the F word and C word and being laughed at by those men . No offer of wet clothes , not interested in the fact that my daughter had to strip down to her vest top and go out in the cold like this . You should be utterly ashamed of your managers behaviour . She was so rude and arrogant and told us to finish our drinks and leave . Reading other reviews and chatting with other customers , who were appalled , it seems she is well know for this type of behaviour . Once outside I called customer services , and a member of staff was clearly sent outside to listen to my call , which I told the agent about . We had no choice but to purchase new clothes so we could get home , might have been different if the manager had done her job and made sure we were ok and cleaned up . I will be looking for reimbursement for those clothes , and I really hope you deal with this terrible manager accordingly . Furthermore going by the very strong smell of vinegar from the sauce and the thin consistency it’s very clear this was watered down , otherwise this situation might not...

We popped in here for a couple of drinks on Friday evening 2nd February before heading back to our hotel. It was very busy but were served at the bar quickly, found a quiet table. We asked if they were serving food but we had unfortunately just missed the cut off for it. Couple of minutes later we were approached by a bouncer advising us we would have to leave. No reason given other than one of the bar staff had asked the bouncer to eject us. We were sat quietly talking, not shouting or laughing or bothering anyone. We had our drinks taken from us and we were out. No explanation, no reason, no idea why. I'm 46 and have never been asked to leave a bar in my life. I can only assume that strangers to Dundee are not welcome here, perhaps homophobic staff? Left a bitter taste to our overnight stay. Shame 😞

After replying to the email address no further contact has been received. We emailed the head office too and to no avail. Lip service only and they are not interested in looking...

Good service and very friendly staff. Tables cleaned after people left, ready for the next customers. All new rules adhered to with staff wearing masks and booking tables in advance. Would recommend, although we were only there for a couple of drinks, so can't comment on the food. Update: been back a few times since my good review above, however no more after today. ( 2 Dec 21 ) Again with my sister, sat down for drink only and waitress said that was ok as it was not busy. Younger waitress came over shortly after stating that the table was for meals. Raised her eyebrows, huffed and walked off when we said the other waitress said it was ok. She then walked past us several times ignoring us and eventually after 5 minutes we walked out.
