Anchor Cafe — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Stopped by on a lovely warm September afternoon for a coffee and cake with my husband. We had 2 lattes with a generous splash of caramel syrup, my husband, a slice of chocolate fudge cake and myself a homemade scone with Cornish clotted cream and strawberry jam. The scone was incredibly light and crumbly. Staff were very friendly. We sat outside as the weather was so warm. Prices were very reasonable considering its location so close to the beach. Yes very rude service by the lady. It was 9.20am, nobody was in and as i walked in i said with a smile "can i get the breakfast please? " She said yes no probs , so i sat down.....5 min went past and i went into to get a iced coffee to go with the breakfast .........she said ive not ordered you a breakfast, go to the counter and tell the cook 🤷🏼‍♂️ and was done with a very rude attitude with no smile. Finally found one place for food. Food is quick serves, hot and fresh, unlimited Mayo and Ketchup. We were served by girl name Holy, this is one of the best ever customer service I’ve ever had. Friendly, polite, and helpful🥰. 5 * star to Holy. Place is nice and clean, close to the beach, if kids play at the Bouncy Castle you can still watching them...
