The Lion — Restaurant in Great Yarmouth

Thoroughly disgusted. Been coming here for 5 years while on holiday, no problems. This year was dreadful. Vaping is the new anti social thing in the 2020's. We were forced to leave today. The amount of vaping was dreadful. Our eyes were stinging, we were constantly coughing even with the windows open. In Birmingham where we are from vaping is banned inside pubs and clubs. why not in pubs in gt yarmouth? Also the foul language is getting worse. It's not a place you can now take your wife or kids. We will no longer be using the lion and you probably won't miss the £200 - £300 we used to spend each week. We will advise family and friends re this anti...

From Hull and walked in to be met by a smiling landlord, he showed us to our seats as I didn't want to sit on a regulars seat, the pub was up to date and real clean and tidy, the staff was very polite and friendly, after an hour or so we was like a regular the ppl in there made us feel welcome and wanted us to travel 200 miles to go back next week lol, we actually went back the nxt night to the quiz .. well...

Very friendly staff with great service. Lovely feel in pub with a very nice community atmosphere. Music every night over Easter weekend which was very entertaining and enjoyable. Prices of drinks were cheapest we found in Yarmouth. As it was off the beaten track we were probably the only tourists in there but made very welcome.
