Di Pola's — Restaurant in Hastings

Googled looking for ice-cream, tuned up and found a queue for ice cream on a blustery day, it must be good. We waited around 5 mins to get to the front of the queue moves quickly and once inside the staff are friendly and efficient

There was plenty of choice of flavours and extremely reasonable.

Sadly there are no dietary options as the risk of cross contamination is too high.

Vegan, dairy free and gluten free options are available however would be unsuitable for allergies or intolerances. It's near on impossible to stop cross contamination in an ice cream parlour.

Four stars as the ice cream is good. Super reasonable and the staff were nice, as the bulk of my reviews are for gluten and dairy free a star had to be dropped and reports from the 4 ice cream eaters in my family have stated perfectly nice but not 5 stars

Worth a visit, probably the best ice cream in Hastings as it's made on site. Super cute you can see the kitchen. And it's all made on site.

prepare for a short wait, it moves fast and is worth it. There are various shops advertising vegan options and gluten advertised at many shops in Hastings, thinking about it there is no way that they would be able to overcome the cross contamination issues and as all the cafes had the same flavours and signs I would guess they are all factory made.

This could totally be a rare 5 stars if they had a separate singular flavour (I would take anything and pay a premium) that was free from dairy and gluten, and no risk of cross contamination from gluten containing cones. The kitchen so so clean that the risk of cross contamination from preparation, even though handling gluten and dairy containing ingredients is so low that customers could make the choice for themselves...

Hands down the BEST ice cream in Hastings and quite possibly the UK. All lovingly made fresh on sight, you may even see the genius himself hard at work creating delicious new flavours for you. My favourite flavours are always the nutty ones - Pistachio, Salty Peanut and more. But you really cannot go wrong. (They will allow you a taster or two if you are really struggling to make a choice) Having lived in Hastings my entire life, I remember when they first opened years ago, I highly recommend this spot to any and all visitors of the area, you will dream about this delicious ice cream. I often visit on a cold rainy day, because really there are no rules when it comes to enjoying ice cream by the seaside. Watch out for the gulls if you are going to walk with...
