This is undoubtedly the best coffee shop in Hastings. If you love your coffee you'll love stooge. The Batista's are excellent and know how to make consistently good coffee. The oatmilk flat white is a particular favourite of mine. They use Pharmacie coffee which is roasted in Brighton. Stooge also sell excellent cakes, several of which are vegan, and they allow you to eat savoury food purchased from next door in Trinity whole foods while you enjoy your coffee. The guy serving me understands obsessions. I have given up milk and wanted a coffee experience that would please me despite not having any milk in my latte. I explained what l crave; the taste of nuts, caramel and chocolate but no citrus flavour, and we went through several options until l found the coffee and the plant milk that hit the spot. We have recently been spending three days in Hastings each month and this café is head and shoulders above anything else.
