Called owner (Tim) day before to enquire about COVID precautions- he explained the protocol in place, quiet times, busy times and where to park.
Good location, great selection of ales, cider and gin. Time chatted us through the variety of options and helped us in our selection- really great service. The staff were attentive, friendly and ensuring hygiene was kept a top priority-very reassuring! This is a family run business and the care and service really shows. The food on offer was limited to cold only- but a brilliant selection of artisan pies (generous portion sizes).

The beer is rarely off the mark and the staff know what they are talking about. Plus they are happy to give recommendations from very vague requirements rather than looking down their noses at you.
