One star isn't for quality - really satisfied with servers, and food was somehow tasty... As for a vegan! If I'd like vegan, I'll give here 5 stars. One star only to make this review more visible, as usually people are first reading bad things. I've ordered it with my girlfriend, two ultimate burgers and dirty fries, being sure we are ordering normal, meaty food. Unfortunately we seen that too late. Description for some items were saying clearly that some items are fully vegan, for these, "patty", "bacon", "doner", that made us believe it's going to be real meat inside. Girlfriend don't like to try new things, so never finished meal, me tried myself, and even ate a lot, still not enough taste for a meat-lover. Positive - tried it, and not for me, now I can say to some hard-vegan trying to convince me that still, not similar in taste.

Staff inside lovely, nice spot in city, as for such busy day as Saturday night been waiting only 13mins longer than advised, so no complaints. Only one minus is miscommunication on the line of online ordering, if about to try it first time, for god's sake, don't get them bad review if you seen mine already! And if not, you could've seen it before.

Lovely place, just not for me :) Cheers guys! Really recommending you for any vegan people! Sorry for that one star, if you don't think that you do not deserve such review comment me here, we will sort it. Advice for management, list it more clearly that ALL of your menu is vegan, even if you say about bacon or...

Not good at all I’m afraid. Severely overpriced, horrible food. I don’t waste food, ever, so I ate it, Begrudgingly, as I had spent so much money on it….but I was grimacing the whole time. I ordered off of just eat and the Korean beef chips (Ā£10.50) looked great however that’s where it ended. The ā€œbeefā€ was a disgusting texture and flavour. Both sauces were pungent with vinegar the actual chips were okay after trying to scrape the sauce off, but no different from the ones you’d get from the kebab for a 5th of the price! The donut burger (Ā£12.00) was tiny, flat and sad looking. Gherkins, burger sauce, the lowest quality, flattest fake chicken burger that tasted like wet cardboard squished into a soggy sad small doughnut. These flavours do not go! I like weird flavour combinations which is why I ordered it in the first place…but this was just foul. I never want to be unjustifiable harsh to food businesses but I felt completely utterly ripped off for spending Ā£25 on food I would have wanted to just chuck away after the first bite. This was my first time ordering, I don’t know if it was ever a good place to eat…but based on my experience and the price of the food. I would say this place is greedily mugging people off. I would have rather had McDonald’s and that’s difficult for me to say! I highly DO NOT recommend. Spend your money on...

OK. So the food is tasty, you can't really tell your not having meat. That's the good thing. The bad thing is that the food is expensive for the potion sizes; and talking about potion sizes.. a friend had the moroccan 'lamb' tagine; it came in two separate small dishes with a small salad. He got food envy from 3 other friends who had a large burger and chips. There wasn't much in the price and no real reason for the large potion size difference. I had the hunters chicken, which was nice but drowned in bbq sauce at the expense of any other taste.

We had the shared nachos platter and the shared anti pasta platter. Both really good and easily the best thing on the menu.

The desserts were OK, nothing really special; although I wouldnt go for the brownies as, although large, the brownies was rock hard.

Drinks were £2+ for anything on the non-alcholic menu. The mocktails were EXPENSIVE, and from what my friend said disappointing and small.

Would I go again? Probably not unless I was invited and couldn't convince my vegan friends to go somewhere else.

The 3 stars are mainly for the decor, cleanliness and waiting staff; who although took their time getting our orders, were funny and attentive. Oh, and the fact I count really tell I wasn't...

I popped in to Hank's to just have a beer and a snack and will definitely be back! I ordered a pint of local bitter (from the Humber Doucy Brewing Co., which was very good). To this, I decided to add the salt and pepper tofu with sweet chilli dip and also try the beer battered broccoli with blue cheese sauce. Wow! Firstly, I thought that the portion sizes were good, especially for the quality of the food. This is really good stuff, nicely presented. The battered broccoli with blue cheese sauce was very enjoyable, something I'll order again, for sure. Crunchy outer with soft inner. The tofu dish blew me away, to be honest. It was fantastic, from the flavour combinations, to the right amount of spice, juiciness and crispiness. I think if I lived nearby this dish could become a problem! Add to this the very friendly reception and relaxing ambience, made me want to write this review for all to see. Key message - don't let the vegan label get in the way if you are not vegan. This place is doing great job and is serving a really good food offering in a nice setting with very pleasant customer service! They seem to offer lots of regular favourites, really well done, just without the meat!

I was surprised to find this place deserted on a Saturday evening. A mixed experience overall but would be happy to go back to try on another day. Some of the dishes were fantastic, with the loaded tater tots being a highlight. A great mix of flavours and incredibly moreish. The burger was also satisfying and did a great emulation of a fast food experience. The hot dog was a let down, however, with a stale bun and fairly bland kimchi. The menu had many interesting options to chose from. The service was not good. The sound system was left blaring static for about 10 minutes while the staff disappeared. When they came back to fix it there was no apology or acknowledgement that it had made an unpleasant end to the meal. As the only customer in the restaurant I would expect better than that. I am happy to support a vegan restaurant and hope my experience is not representative of the general experience so would still be happy to return.

Hank's Dirty 100% Vegan is a chain which serves vegan food, specialising in comfort dishes and desserts. I usually prefer more refined food but I have never eaten such a large portion of food with ease. I was served by Callum who was very friendly and helpful. I asked him what to try and we settled for a portion of ribs and a mixed kebab. The ribs were fantastic, by far the best I have tried since becoming vegan. The sticky barbecue sauce was also brilliant. The mixed kebab was huge and the fresh salad went perfectly with the doner meat and chicken. The doner was particularly convincing and super delicious, even the flatbread it was served on was fluffy and fresh. I wish I had more room after my food to try some of the desserts! But I will have to come back as soon as I can to try it out again. Overall the food is fantastic and the service was great, would recommend this restaurant to anyone 😊
