Really disappointed with our visit here. Rang before going to make sure they allowed under 18s for food and was told yes but the kitchen closes at 7.45pm. Arrived at 6.15 to be told they were expecting 100-150 students at 7pm. Not something we had been told on the phone. I said we would be happy to be gone by then, despite that the waiter, Ryan, took 20minutes to come over and take our order even though there appeared to be only 3 or 4 other tables in use at the time, it certainly wasn’t busy. We ordered and he did that really irritating thing where they don’t write down the order and he had to come back and double a check it again so he wasn’t even listening the first time. There wasn’t enough cutlery at the table so I had to request more forks. The food then arrived at 7.20 - over an hour after ordering, and there were only three of us and nothing we had ordered (burgers, pasta and a salad) should have taken more than 20minutes to make. He did apologise when he finally brought the food but by was then calling me “darling” which is just irritating, I could cope with “guys” but “darling” is just patronising. After the meal he came over to bring the bill and told me that licensing meant we had to be out before 8, I explained that I had called to check before we came and was not informed of this deadline nor the imminent arrival of a 150...

I’d like to preface this by saying I had an incredible time at the 80’s night and previously at the Frank Sinatra gig performed by the same great people.

However, there were people who bought tickets for their family as they were assured through someone higher up that under 18s were allowed and once they got there, any underage people were kicked out despite it being a very family friendly event. If this was because it was an event open to the public let me turn that around and mention the fact that bar staff were not informed that tickets were open to the public and instead, when asked about what the event was were told “it’s a private party”.

The lack of marketing for this event compared to others was shocking and the fact the people running it rang to check if under 18s were allowed multiple times and they were then turned away was abysmal.

For an event this quality with such an intricate amount of attention on detail and organisation, it was disappointing they were...

Booked the restaurant service for myself and 3 people. Upon entering we were seated at a high table with rickety chairs that I'm suprised held any weight, uncomfortable and the table was sticky to add to that. We asked to move to a booth but the staff member was unhelpful and rude. We were given a menu and just shoved in the middle of the bar amoungst loud people wanting to get drunk. The table next to us was full of men starting fights and smashing glasses everywhere. Ordered 4 cocktails that came to £34 for a tiny glass and a dried orange that looked like it had been scrapped off the floor. Didn't even order food and we left to go to somewhere more cheaper and a little quieter. This place is just a bar full of loud and obnoxious people wanting to get plastered. If you want a little quieter meal with comfortable seating then...

Not for food, no. This place is good for a drink: they make really nice cocktails for good price. But food: nah, too overpriced. Why? Let me explain. I've got a Big Cheese burger here (8.95£) and it wasn't good: dry, plain, low quality meet, nothing special. Ok, you might say that if you want a good burger, pay more. Ok, here is another example. Have you ever heard about Handmade Burgers Co? This is the place where I've tried my best burger. I mean it. If I'm not mistaken, you can get a proper cheese burger there for 7.95£ and it will be great. Moreover, this place is in Leeds, so higher prices are expected. But here in Huddersfield? 8.95£ for a 'good burger'. Such a joke!! P.S. this is all you get in terms of sauce. It's good, but c'mon, that little?!!

Management is shocking, very cocky attitude, dosent care about the customers kind of thing. We had a meal booked for about 14 people, we booked it for upstairs in the restaurant and was placed downstairs where everyone is drinking and couldn’t hear each other, non of the tables were pushed together so the group was separated. Our meal was booked for half 7 and we got id at the door but one of us dint have there id and they refused entry saying it’s past 8 so they need id but we was there before half 7…. The menu was overpriced for what you got, very bland also our meals was pre booked (except 1 because it was a surprise birthday meal) and we had to wait till 8:45 for the food, also no table service what’s crazy itself Wouldn’t recommend

This is the most honest review I’ve ever written. Ryan and Daisy were absolutely amazing from the second we walked in the door. The service was 5*. I had the bevy drink before I had even finished it be fiswt. The food was absolute class not a single complaint about it at all, I got a free shot as I was birthday. Honestly if you wanted decent staff then Ryan and Daisy are the way to go. Because of there friendliness and service u will 100000% be booking my next bottomless brunch there! Now that’s the sort of staff you need! Pay rises for both of them!!
