Trinity HFC — Restaurant in Kirklees

Where do I start with my review this shambolic place!!! I would give this place a minus if I could! What a load of garbage! Man charge ridiculous prices trying to compete with chikanos (especially with the latest additions) and not to speak of getting jelous of the desert place across the road and stacking dead deserts in a takeaway!

The food is hardly fresh, the chicken is sat there most of the time and its hard and on some occasions blood has been found in there.

They never give any sauce with the meal from day 1! Their runny sauces aint even worth 5p but yet they charge 25p extra wow wee!

This place back in the day use to be good, it has gone down, worrying too much I think about other places opening rather concentrating on their food quality!

The workers are the workers but the owner should take full responsibility for the mess!

If you are reading OWNER then hang your head in shame.

Their burger prices have gone up since chikanos opened, he only added different burgers then too. Let me tell you the joke of it all, they charge a ridiculous amount for a burger and then put no cheese slice in there!! Wth! When you ask they say 35p extra for a slice of cheese!

Yo go to tesco and you get 10 cheese slices for a bloody pound!

What the flip! And then there is no drink with the meal! Oh gosh this is the pinncle of greediness! The more you have the more greedy you get! Chikanos give you a drink and as many sauces as you like with the meal! Learn and take heed!

Dry and dead donner too!

BOYCOTTED! CHIKANOS ALL THE WAY...HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE IT IN...

Wanted to order a medium fish masala, only to be told there is only large, no problem, these things happen, the man behind the till told me that price of the large fish masala was one price, but on there menus on the counter and behind the till was at another cheaper price, I asked him the size again? Large he responsed, for me to point out that a large fish masala on there menu is alot cheaper than what he is charging me, for him to reply, oh they are old menus, his tone and attitude was poor from start to finish, as I waited outside a ladies car broke down, she asked me for help as her phone died, I offered her to use mine and to call a local garage, she asked if I had a Iphone charger but as I use android, I did not, she then proceeded to go into trinities and asked if she could charge her phone as they had an iphone charger, so she could call her husband, they refused, she offered them money so that she could charge her phone, again refusing. She did not have her partner's number at hand so couldnt use my phone, to call him, i just think poor attitude, they had no obligation to charge her phone, but in times where someone is in need, I think the individual at the counter could have put her phone on charge for few moments just so she could make a call to her husband. Her car was directly outside trinities and she attempted to start her car on several occasions just for it cause the engine and exhaust to become smokey, she was visibly stressed and i am appalled at the level customer service and lack of kindness shown...

Don't know why this place has such negative reviews?

I've given it a 4* because I'm realistic in my expectations for a street takeaway im not rating this place as i would a gourmet restaurant and neither should some of the folks below.

So lets start off;

Service: i came in around 1pm from what i could see there was only a blonde lady working which is fine because it wasn't rammed. Her service was good, welcoming, polite and did exactly as i would expect of a server in this shop no complaints.

Food: I ordered x3piece an chips, in fairness it came out to me pretty quickly and red hot so i knew it was fresh, the chicken was ok the batter coating was nice but maybe the actual chicken itself could of been of better quality but it was ok. The chips were bland in fairness, i did need to season them but the shop had the facilities for me to do that, so i guess thats down to personal taste preference. I ate the whole lot and washed down with a fanta lemon 🍋

The outside maybe needs a little investment but overall for ME i enjoyed my food and my experience....
