Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Lancaster

Really disappointed today, been coming to Morecambe Costa since it opened. Never had an issue before until today, our order took alot longer than usual. However staff were messing about laughing and joking together and not concentrating once manager left the counter. So much so that my partners order was completely forgotten about. No apology was made, lady who taken our order confirmed we did order another drink and then it was laughed off. We waited and then was handed our missing drink with no apology. Not a problem with coffee, it was the staff. Firstly the server had no interest whatsoever or patience. Order 4 drinks and took the money without giving change then the drink were in mugs when I was clear it was takeaway, still not received my change and when I brought it up to another member of staff to get my change the other server didnt apologised n simply answered with a shrug and rude face that he 'gets distracted easily' . I have never been so appalled in my life, this is the first time i have ever seen such a disgusting and filthy Costa, shocked at the dripping roof and over flowing bins, the floor looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for days. No excuses lazy staff that have no idea how to maintain a clean environment. Everything needed cleaning from floors to windows and the coffee machines, dirty rags lying around. A mop bucket catching a drip, sort yourself out, your not that busy and before i forget no card cash only …....
