Was in here fairly early on Saturday night, this was first visit since its highly publicised refurb, to be honest I couldnt see much difference from pre-refurb. The early visit and heavy rain, would possibly answer reason why it was very quite. The Bar staff could hardly be classed as the warm and friendly type. (bordering on abrupt).......they were hardly run off their feet. Oddly enough we had friends turned away on a previous visit due to a "Saturday dress code" that prevents men wearing shorts. Totally awesome. Walked in tonight for the first time ever, a total stranger. The lady who served me welcomed me as if I was already a friend and spoke to me in a fantastic and very relaxed manner. Immediately dispelled any slight anxiety of it being my first visit. The pub is very clean and tidy. The toilets were clean, free from our which is a big thing. The background music was a very well balanced selection. Totally relaxed and friendly atmosphere. And social distance was being very well enforced without being "forceful".

The joiners Arms is a small local pub were everyone is made feel welcome. Here you can enjoy karaoke 3/4 nights per week with live artists on a sat.
