We came to the Morecambe Hotel for lunch on Tuesday with our 1 year old daughter and the service we received was impeccable. The lady who served us couldn't do enough and was so attentive to our little girl. We asked for carrot sticks which weren't on the menu and it was no trouble at all. We ordered a sandwich to share and a soup each and we were even given separate plates with half a sandwich on and our own portion of chips! The owner then very kindly gave our daughter a drink of juice in a palm tree cup which she absolutely loved and it was such a nice touch. We come to the Morecambe hotel quite often and we're always given such great service, but it's extra special when children are made to feel welcome too. Amazing service from a kind, friendly, professional staff.

We were there for a family gathering of about 40 people following a funeral and they couldn't have been more helpful in the run up, during the gathering and finishing up.

The staff had allocated seating both inside and in the garden. Provided a welcome spread that was generous and tasty. (Particularly the ribs and fresh sausage rolls).

They catered for dietary requirements quickly and helpfully, and rectified any issues quickly and courteously.

First time visiting and the place is very welcoming. I was a little bit disheartened that the place doesn’t have any dark stout beers, they only have blonde beers which to me are just yuk!

Anyway, we’d pre-booked our table and were shown by a young man who I can happily say had great communication skills and good banter.

The menu is a little on the sparse side, not much to choose from, but what it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality. The starters were lovely, as were the mains (which I could not finish as they were just too immense).
